The King soul

The King is one of the seven soul types or ‘roles in essence’. A King soul is a natural-born leader with an innate sense of power and personal authority.

king soul

“I know I have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a king.” — Queen Elizabeth I of England

“Love him or hate him, Trump is a man who is certain about what he wants and sets out to get it, no holds barred.” — Donald Trump (describing himself)

“I believe in benevolent dictatorship … provided I am the dictator.” — Richard Branson

“Make It So”

Like Warriors, Kings are action-oriented souls. But whereas Warriors are attracted to action on the front line, as it were, King souls prefer to be in a commanding position from which they can oversee and run the entire operation.

The name “King” reflects the fact that such souls have a commanding presence, an innate power and even a regal air about them. King souls are born leaders and others will tend to automatically look to them for leadership and direction. Their raison d’être is to assume command and take charge, not just being the ultimate decision-maker but also the one who takes ultimate responsibility.

King souls tend to see the world around them as their personal chess-board — and others are pieces to be moved about. They have a knack for orchestration and tactical manoeuvring, and are happy making far-reaching decisions that affect many people.

As an example of a King soul in action, here is a clip of Katherine Hepburn arriving at a TV studio for an interview. Note how quickly she is able to take charge:

Positive and Negative Poles

[As a reminder, any manifestation of consciousness has both a positive pole and a negative pole. The positive pole is an expression of the true self or soul; the negative pole is an expression of the false self or ego.] In the positive pole of their essence, mastery, King souls are completely autonomous, powerful and responsible, in charge of both themselves and their surroundings to good effect. They can achieve unity of effort and synergy of action, empowering others to achieve great things. They give power to others rather than take it from them. A great leader, it is said, is one who creates more leaders, not followers.

In the negative pole, tyranny, they are more like puppet masters, merely “playing” people as pawns for their own selfish ends. At times they can be callous, imperious, tyrannical, despotic.

King Soul Characteristics

Unlike any other Role, King souls appear to be in full possession of themselves. Internal conflict is not something they struggle with very often. Self-assuredness is part of their very nature. Self-doubt is almost unknown.

This might sound great, but it means that King souls have little insight into the inner struggles of others. They can be terribly insensitive to things that make most people feel uncomfortable. Simon Cowell is a perfect example of this.

As a prime example from fiction, think of the James Bond character: highly autonomous and masterful in himself, but at times cruel and heartless in his use of other people. This was aptly demonstrated by Sean Connery, himself a King soul.*

*(Daniel Craig currently plays Bond more like a Warrior than a King, IMHO.)

King souls are naturally dominant in life and therefore not happy in submissive roles — even as the youngest member of the family, a child King will want to rule the roost.

Throughout life, King souls will tend to assume leadership and responsibility with little effort on their part. Nevertheless, they are not always in actual positions of power. Like all other souls, Kings will experience life from every possible angle — this is important for the sake of balance. They can be beggars as well as presidents.

Wherever they are, however, they will still emanate Kingly qualities: assertiveness, directness, self-assuredness, and an aura of certainty, power and authority.

Numerous movie and theatre directors are King souls, such as Sir David Lean and James Cameron. As actors, King souls such as Tommy Lee Jones excel of course at playing dominant, autocratic characters.

Facially, Kings tend to be distinguished by

  • very solid features — meaty or even stone-like;
  • a very muscular, well-defined jaw (think of the classic square-jawed hero);
  • a no-nonsense, all-knowing, commanding expression;
  • a kind of fearless, “king of the jungle” stare.

Like Warriors, their head shape tends to be quite angular.

King Soul Evolution

As a reminder, all souls progress through five cycles of self-evolution in physical form (see: Reincarnation: the 35 Steps.)

In the second cycle, Baby Kings tend to be ultra-conservative leaders in small communities — the town mayor, the chief of police, the mafia boss. There are exceptions, of course. Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini was in charge of a nation. The same may become true of the former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin.
Young Kings are natural empire builders capable of grand achievement. Some famous examples include Alexander the Great, Mark Antony, Catherine the Great, John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, John Paul GettyWilliam Randolph Hearst, Billy Graham, Donald Trump, Alan Sugar, Simon Cowell and Mitt Romney. Many tycoons are Young Kings.
Mature Kings like Queen Elizabeth IKatherine Hepburn,  James GarnerSam Neill, Madeleine Albright, Kiri Te Kanawa and Richard Branson seek to use their leadership and commanding presence more thoughtfully and creatively, such as in the arts. James Garner
Old Kings seek to become masters of their own power for the good of society or the world at large. Examples include Alice Miller, Lorenzo de’Medici, Richard Feynman and Neem Karoli Baba. Worldly power becomes less important. Towards the end of the cycle, quite a few become homeless wanderers — “kings of the road”.

Very rarely, an Old King who has finished reincarnating will return to physical life to serve as a spiritual master, an avatar, the Truth made flesh. Examples include Buddha and Jesus.

  1. I think I might very well be a King soul. All my life I was called dominant, controlling etc. Even cruel. Parents were pretty hard on me and wanted of course to have power over me, but it always was impossible, because I know for my self how things needs to be, they were often wrong I thought. I don’t like it to have been and still I am called these things, because I really never mean any harm, accept from when people do something that is wrong in my eyes, then there is no stopping me. It’s like I want to give them some kind of punishment, because I think it’s wrong and I tell people to their face that they are doing things wrong. I always stand up for the weak, nobody will bully someone as long as I’m around and if I’m not there I will take action later. Nobody will get away if they harm someone, even if I don’t like a person for some particular reason I will stand up for him/her if they were wronged. I look at other people as “my people”, and that I want to guide and protect at any cost. People are very important to me and that they all get treated fairly. I see that some are lost and don’t always know what to do and I will help them any way I can if needed, show them the way etc. If I say something I mean it and to disobey me is very stupid because I will get really angry and I feel like people not obeying me is not thinking straight, because I’m intelligent and I know what I’m doing.

How does it sound? At first I thought I was a warrior, but I’m not into doing physical things so quick, it’s more if there is no other way out. But I will (I’m a woman) hit any man who dares to talk to me in the wrong way or I will say something to make him look like the true fool he is. Depends on my mood, I guess. Place we’re in, people around and so on.

Great page this was, very interesting! Thank you for something interesting to read 🙂

    • Hi Lena

Yep, you sound like a King. Warrior with a goal of Dominance briefly crossed my mind, but the sense of “I know what’s best”, the desire to make sure all of your “subjects” are OK, and the expectation of loyal obedience are all completely King-like characteristics. You come across as pretty feisty too – I imagine a lot of people find you quite scary!

Just to be sure, did you try the Discover Your Soul Type test?

      Thanks for the feedback,

  2. Wow thank you for this post, one of the biggest
problems I have today when I’m searching for
material and knowledge is that all the information
is presented in a lofty and ambiguous manner.

I’d been looking for a long time and
I was very curious about the kings characteristics
and attributes finally I found your blog
and you presented this in a nice forward manner, I appreciate that.

Often I disregard products being marketed to the
side of blogs but if your book offers solid writings as do your posts then I think it speaks
volumes about your character and I’ll have
to buy and check it out.

One of the things I’m curious about.. and wondering if you could help me with is in regard
    to the 4 arch types.

    – Kings/Queens
    – Warriors
    – Lovers
    – A Magicians

My philosophy to life is that you need to
be balanced in each regard. I believe that
although a king posses excellent self mastery
of himself and respected authority over others

would it not be best to not only focus on the
kings attributes (if it were your nature)

but also in the sage (magicians) attributes to influence and stimulate others, the warriors ability to be fearless and persistent and the priests ability to inspire a vision, expose truth and bring people together.

As it stands my personality type is
    ENTJ – The Chief/Executive

and my KWML (King warrior magician mage from

    is: 46.2% King/Queen, 30.8% Warrior, 15.4% Lover, and 7.7% Magician.*

What are your thoughts about this? I can see you are very wise in this field and I’d like to know if it is worth-while to obtain abilities in other fields to seek balance

or is it only possible to follow your souls nature through a life time?

personally I believe that being fearless is a learned ability and although I lack in being an more entertaining. I believe that being stimulating is also a learned attribute.

Could you please share your thoughts?

    • Hi elvalentino

Thank you for your very kind comments. It’s great to be appreciated.

I’m not sure if you realise that the book in the sidebar is not BY me, it’s just one I feel happy to promote. (If you buy it from the link I earn about 20c from Amazon, so it’s not exactly a get rich quick scheme.)

Your philosophy of balance is interesting and gives me pause for thought.

First thought: Souls are deliberately diverse in their nature, with different emphasis on different strengths – the universe (or God if you prefer) does not gain anything by creating a load of clones. So as a Scholar for example I am always going to be strong in terms of studying and analyzing and sharing information, but to be frank I am absolutely crap as a leader. I’m not a King at all. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Who says we should all be leaders after all?

But if I DO want to become a leader, perhaps because i feel imbalanced, or simply because my interests are going in that direction, then I am free to focus on learning that. I could spend a few lives with the goal of Dominance (see goals In the articles sidebar); I could also opt to be born into a family of military leaders, say, where the skill would rub off.

I think souls do tend to become more balanced as they evolve, but not because they need to – because they naturally want to. Throughout the course of reincarnation we pick our superficial attributes for each life (the “overleaves”), which can be different from one life to the next. These do give one a flavour of the other soul types, so although a king is always a king, it can experience being a subservient king in one life and an affectionate king in the next, for instance. In this life, for example, I have a Sage-like attitude of Idealism, a Priest-like goal of Growth and a Warrior-like mode of Perseverance.

So is it “best” to focus on acquiring the attributes of other soul types? … Well in a sense you already do at the soul level, from one life to the next. On a day-to-day level, though, I wouldn’t worry about it.

      barry 🙂

  3. lol and as another bonus I just read the above
comment from mine to see the soul type quiz..

and although I ironically thought I would fit in
to the scholar type (because I’d figured I’d answer those questions)

it still showed up as King which I didn’t expect.

I took a look at your face shape blog and I can’t differentiate whether I’m a Scholar Shape or a King shape

lol sorry I guess I’m just rambling on here, im just a bit excited, its cool to see how it all naturally matches up

    your awesome

    • You have quite an intense, dramatic look in those eyes, which suggests Priest. The muscles around the jaw look pretty solid, however, which is certainly Kingly. But admittedly it’s hard to tell from one photo.

  4. Thanks Barry, I really appreciate you coming back to reply to these comment and in being so detailed in your replies. I can see see now that it goes much deeper then I initially thought, I’m going to have to spend some time reading the rest of your blog. Clearly you’ve put a lot of research into this and I can see that in the scholar aspect of you, it’s awesome.

Before I read this though, I thought I would try to figure things out for my own.. so rather then splitting the seven catagories up into a single one (which would of taken to long to first begin)

I instead used the other four soul types I’d discovered – the King, Magician, Warrior and Lover..

And then categorized them by a list of human values I came across out of the book I think YOU mentioned.

“Strengths of Wisdom and Knowledge: Cognitive strengths that entail the acquisition and use of knowledge
    1. Creativity [originality, ingenuity]: Thinking of novel and productive ways to conceptualize and do things.

    24. Spirituality [religiousness, faith, purpose]: Having coherent beliefs about the higher purpose, the meaning of life, and the meaning of the universe.”

In the end I came up with this concept which was pretty interesting because as it turns out there was something already in existance for each of them..

Authority Entertainment – which is known
as “Cocky + Funny” (King + Magician)

There were plenty of others but I won’t bore
    you with all the information

To be honest I’ve never considered taking a look
at past lives and soul types because I try to
remain pragmatic as possible but the information you provided is pretty solid, you should write a book.

I’m going to add this website to the next blog post that I make (spot light post) It certainly deserves it and I think a lot of people would appreciate the info.

I also took a new picture, it’s a front shot this time. Do you think you could give me your opinion on the faceshape/soul type of it?

    Thanks Barry, all the best

    • Very striking. I’m going with Priest. In fact, you remind me of Napoleon Bonaparte (Priest) when he was a young man!

  5. Just wanna know… since there are 3 cardinal roles, and either of them will sorta fit smoothly into a leadership role, how do you tell by their style, who fits into what role? I mean, you can’t keep staring into their eyes (which all look the same to me, anyhow- believe me, I’ve tried staring and finding out the truth! :)), and good and bad leadership looks the same.

For instance, Idi Amin is supposedly a Priest, but he is known as a tyrant, something a King is usually associated with. Sean Connery is a King, but he takes on many of the qualities of the Sage- prima donna, really talkative, sometimes deceitful and manipulative. As for David Tennant, who loves the spotlight, given how emotional he is, and how much people look up to him to lead, I am not sure whether he is a Sage, a Priest or a King.

And many of the qualities of the cardinal roles can be ascribed to each other- plenty of Kings are fanatical about their beliefs, like Priests, plenty of Priests are willing to consider all sides of the situation, like I think Obama is doing, and plenty of Sages can be both commanding and inspirational, like Reagan was to me.

Sorry this letter is so long, man…. just had this itch for too long to summarize in one sentence… itch to know I mean.

    • Hi Matt

I guess it’s a case of theme and variations. Because aside from role (such as King), three other factors that I’m aware of come into play. There is SOUL AGE, the personality’s OVERLEAVES and the soul’s CASTING.

Let’s start with overleaves (personality traits). The goal, mode and attitude all make a difference to how a soul would otherwise come across. A King would ordinarily be commanding (like goal of Dominance), assertive (like mode of Aggression) and astute (like attitude of Realism). But the soul needs to experience life in different ways, so each life is marked by a different set of ‘garments’ – perhaps this time a goal of Acceptance, mode of Caution and attitude of Idealism. This will give the King soul attributes which we would ‘archetypally’ associate with other souls, such as the Sage’s love of acceptance. Now, I readily admit it is very hard sometimes to tell if someone is, say, a King with Acceptance or a Sage with Dominance. In this, I find the facial features helpful – Sages tend to major in the big cheeks and twinkly eyes while Kings are firm and focused, like a lion.

So how do you tell the difference between, say, a Sage and another type whose goal of Acceptance (probably combined with mode of Passion) means that they like being in the spotlight? It’s subtle but… a Sage naturally fits being in the spotlight, whereas an Artisan, say, with a goal of Acceptance wants it but also fears it. You can see this quite easily on shows like X Factor and Britain/America/wherever’s Got Talent. The Sages walk straight into the spotlight, smile, joke – even if they’re unconfident in themselves. It’s where they belong. Others will tend to react to being in the spotlight – it’s not a natural place for them. And Artisans, typically, when they perform, will close their eyes and focus on the meaning of the song whereas Sages will naturally project themselves into the audience – “Here I am, lap it up”.

Soul age will also affect how a soul comes across. Young souls are naturally more extravert than all the rest. Think of JFK, a Young King with Acceptance. Baby souls are naturally conscientious (or, if you prefer, “anal”). Mature souls are more empathetic but also prone to being “neurotic”, in the sense of vulnerable to negative emotions (even Kings!). OId souls are relatively calm and stable, but can seem very eccentric and are vulnerable to depression. So a Young King will tend to be quite different from an Old King, for example.

Finally there is casting. I haven’t explained casting on this website yet as it’s a whole other kettle of fish. But in a nutshell: There is a certain orderliness to how souls come into being (“cast”). Let’s take a small soul group of souls whose “cast” consists of seven Kings. Of these seven, the first will have a Server-like quality (relative to the rest), the second will have an Artisan-like quality, the third will have a Warrior-like quality, and so on… I, for example, am a fifth-cast Scholar, which means that in a room full of Scholars I will be the more chatty, witty and extravert one. (In a room full of Sages, though, I come across as a nerdy introvert!) I have read somewhere that Obama is a 7th-cast (i.e. Kingly) Mature Priest, which would make him relatively commanding for a Priest.

David Tennant – I’m leaning to Priest with Passion – a double dose of upward energy.

Wow, I just wrote a lot more than I thought I would. Hope this helps!

  6. so after taking the test i find my personality is a king! i am kind of confused by this as i feel i look very “artisan.” maybe that’s my secondary? *shrugs* fascinating stuff. 🙂 & apparently i’m in love w/a scholar. sounds like a pretty good match!

    • Ok, that’s interesting. Have you read about the Goal of Dominance – it could be a trait you have that is quite similar to being a King. I tried to design the test to distinguish between the two, but maybe it’s not so clear in this case.

    • no, my goal is actually acceptance. which sometimes hinders me because i want to be liked so much 🙁 i’m actually a very reluctant leader, but a very influential person even when not trying to impose… if that makes sense.

  7. It is said on this website that jesus was a king soul, i beg to differ on what is mentioned here about king souls and in comparrison to jesus christ. I don’t see the similarity. Now a priest soul I can see the relation.

  8. interesting site…however your examples of the soul types are for the most part caucasian people. why is that?

  9. Hi,

My ego would rather I was a king soul, and I’ve always felt tired and old, unsurprised and a bit world weary. I feel like I’ve moved through many soul levels the last 10 years. Maybe existing around Old L3. I feel split between the warrior and king soul profiles, but there is a distinct single vertical line down the centre of my forehead. I remember walking into a shop once and the shopkeeper saying, “ah I see that line I know this… you will accomplish great things”. I remember me replying at the time “I’ve heard that before”. I do my very best not to enter confrontations and I certainly don’t look for them. Mainly on account of a fear of losing control of myself and hurting another person, never on account of being afraid of anyone being aggressive. And to this day I’ve never intentionally hurt another person. I’d say that’s a war like conflict inside myself, natural strength, but deep belief in non violence as a peaceful soul. Control is very important to me, but not control of others. The intelligent mastery of things. I’d say I can size up a situation immediately, but I wouldn’t say at this point in my life that I have a desire to control other people, rather a wish to guide, help and teach people so they can live their own lives. And to keep people safe in general. I feel that’s my responsibility. I’ve also been told I’m difficult to read in terms of facial expression, and extremely calm, with a calming presence.

I’m wary of dogmatic systems, but, the Michael teachings seem to fit my experiences and empirical observations in life so I’m enjoying reading and thank you for your reply. I’m an artist from the North of England-
Many thanks and Happy New Year

    • Hi Will. I looked up your photo and, yes, that’s quite a kingly look. Goal of dominance too?
I’m originally from the North of England too, BTW – near Durham, where of course Yorkshire folk are regarded as southerners!

    • Hi Barry,

Yes those feel accurate. I’ll have to do some more reading. Am manifesting a lower soul level at the moment (obviously) being a young man, but find that a positive thing- room to expand, and plenty of time for that. With certain references to American celebrities I didn’t realise you were on this side of the pond. Always happy to concede being called ‘southern’ from someone further North!

  10. I like to say a very big thank you for the great insight you shared on the subject.i salute your effort and hardwork.i am sure the research you made on the subject must have costed you something precious, but i believe it’s worth it because of the tremendous impact it had on me.i tell you it is absolutely phenomenal.once again obrigado.most of the things you spoke about king soul is very typical of’s like looking through me with a special kind of lens.i figured you must be a prophet of some kind.

  11. I’m not quite certain about which category i’m in.
Physically i fit better as a priest-intense eyes, not a particularily angular face. I know i’m a quite old soul with a goal of dominance. I am very weary of any established religion like an old priest, and I enjoy any chance to inspire people towards a goal, but I really don’t like the idea of a “higher being,” seems underrate the power a human soul wields. Overrall I seem priestly, but I have a commanding aura and quite often I notice very submissive behaviors in people who are normally quite comfortably self-ruled, even in a few very definite king souls (granted they usually seem to be young or baby souls, but there are a few exceptions)
I’ve been told i’m quite handsome… could that contribute to my effect on people enough to create the illusion of kinglyness?

    • Ok, good call. Well, there are two Hindus and a Persian, but I guess you’re probably referring to African descent? I’ll see what I can do.

  12. Hello Barry,
I find this website quite fascinating. I have a question for you – what do you think the case would be with an old King whose goal is Flow? Would they still be drawn to power and stand out from the crowd, or would their power manifest in some unconventional way? Also, what would be the difference between an artisan-cast king and a king-cast artisan? I have the traits of both soul types, but am unsure as to which is my main. I seem to have the face of a King, but my eyes are definetely Artisan. I’m very creative and have been since childhood. As for my behaviour, I can’t stand others controlling me and prefer to be in charge when possible. I don’t recall people ever bullying or dominating me – if someone tries to impose their will on me, I usually laugh at their attempts or ignore them completely. Also, although I do enjoy art for its own sake and for the chance of expressing myself, I partly see it as a way of gaining respect and authority. Which is why I’m never satisfied with my work – I strive to perfect whatever I do, to create art that is not only is a reflection of my soul, but also exceeds the art of other people. I want to go beyond their and my own limitations. So, am I a King or an Artisan, in your opinion?
PS. My goal is Flow, not Dominance – hope that helps.

I would appreciate your view on this matter. 🙂

  13. Barry, you’re the man.

Give me your take on my stats?

I’m 19 and feel a tad like a soul chameleon, which is odd, but perhaps Artisan-like. I’ve taken your surveys and done some research, but it seems like I’m pretty evenly spread amongst Artisan, Priest, and King. I’m, wondering what kind of Mastery old Kings delve into.

My goal is to become “Enlightened” and experience pure bliss by becoming “self actualized”. My heart wants to manifest an infinite or transcendental soul. I’m rather sure I’m either Idealistic or Spiritualistic in Power. Here is the tricky part:

Maybe I am an Artisan in Dominance, or Maybe I am a King in Acceptance. How would a King in Acceptance act? I imagine him to have an attitude of “I’ll follow you to the ends of the Earth” with his companions. Which, if inaccurate, is still appealing to me. However, I’m entrepreneurial and avant-garde in nature, despise the established “routine” path, and like be in leadership positions. This could be due to Power or Kingliness. I become angry when others give me orders and hold power over me.

On the Darker yet Honest side, I sometimes wonder if it is merely my Ego that wishes to be Kinglike, or if it is truly my soul role. Also, I believe my Chief Features to be, like you, Impatience and Self-Depreciation.

Thank you for doing what you’re doing. You’re insight is appreciated!

    Love, Zach

  14. I keep coming back and reading this Amazing Website, Recently I have been on this very spiritual awakening journey, I am really recently into astrology to its deepest levels, and now I have gathered research about souls from this page and from reading this article some time ago I always knew I was an Old soul always felt out of place on this world, but your site helped me learn there are different types, I have the facial features of the king soul so that would make me an old king soul, I have been doing meditating recently and every single day its like a different animal would come to me in real life or on TV (Just recently start back watching TV, I hated cable for the longest because it was all stupid) By the Way im 19. I am convinced I am the OLD KING soul the same that budda and Jesus had, call me crazy but my mind is so Quiet and I am soo Wise and everything just speaks of Love and makes so much sense and I have this Deep thurst for Knowledge, I just was recently baptised this year January 12, and my life has completely flipped, I had a real hard time understanding the bible because I didn’t understand myself, now its like I can just flip open to any page and it predicts what happened that day or what will happen tommorow and it just all makes so much sense. I see alot of spiritual beings all the time 24/7 i can see Auras and in my room its filled with this White energy and I have traveled to the Fairy realm, I just don’t know where to go for help or anything Im too smart and wise to be so young and I don’t know what to do anymore, I have seen our God face to face and even mother earth been to Heaven its really amazing i am very intune with my metaphysical side this is an inheritance, Gave them big hugs I have this deep desire for hugs and am so loveable, uhhh what else oh when I shake some peoples hands I feel this Static Shock God said I have eternal life an all but I need someone to help me or something, I just want to make sure im doing this whole thing right. ohh and when I unlocked my Innate power the 3rd chakra in the solar plexus I was Vibrating so much for like a whole week I could not even sleep and i wasnt even tired. I was just wondering if you could help me with more information on that old king soul, I have read conuntless articles that make so much sense but now I want to advance but i can’t do it on my own. Sincerly, an old soul in need. My Birthchart has a lot of Trines I read an article and it was another confirmation about Saturn or Jupiter conjuction in Pisces, My Saturn is in Pisces and My Saturn and Jupiter has a TRINE, not sure how advanced you are on astrology by im working on my soul well now my spirit and i need guidance, Thanks

  15. hi, i thank you for this ibformation. All my life I didnt know why a dream with power, with carryin about people, with feeling lile a father, with respect, with loyalty, i didnt know why i had a high sense of morality, why i like to make leaders, why i like to feel important, relevant but sensing it, i dont like when somebody tries to say to me that im doing things right, i already know when i make things right, i like when they tell me im wrong cause that makes me think and reexamine what ive donde. i always thought that people wanted to compete with me, i like being the center of attraction but as a nonvisible way, i like to make the right people be the center of attraction in the right way

    • Great – thanks Matias. You certainly do sound rather Kingly.

Just out of curiosity, I am wondering: do other people tend to automatically ‘sense’ that you are a leader?

Depending on other personality factors, a King (like anyone else) can be relatively introvert or extravert. An extravert King (with, say, mode of power and CF of arrogance) can come across ‘loud and clear’ — as soon as they enter a room everyone subconsciously knows “here’s a born leader who knows how to make the right decisions” — while a more introvert king (with mode of caution and CF of self-deprecation, for example) would not stand out so obviously.

    • Sorry for my strange writing in the last post, I was writing from my cel phone and very quickly (and this isn’t my native language). Just some minutes ago I was reading about that “Self-deprecation” thing… and it surprised me a lot because I always thought that I was being humble, but in fact, I was trying to distract the attention from me, I thought that showing my true self was going to be kind of arrogant (because not everyone likes to feel that another person is in charge or is giving orders, mostly when they don’t give you their approval, which is a thing that I don’t get very easily, I have to put a lot of work to get that subconscient or conscient approval). The thing is that I always have the impulse of assuming the responsibility for my errors and that from others, which I do very often. But, I have problems with trying to modulate my authority and my leadership because it’s easy to be arrogant and to lose respect from others. About the other thing, I don’t know if others feel my presence (but I think they do) or want me to be their leader, but I feel like I want to have everything under control, everyone doing what they do best, getting out the best of themselves. It often happens to me that women and men (mostly women) try to point out my errors (I think is because I tend to stand out with my normal behavior (without me noticing it)), I feel like they want me to act like a perfect individual and if I don’t do my best they perceive that automatically and they proceed to point that out very fast. In the other hand, I feel that a lot of people try to compete with me, I don’t know whats that… maybe they feel like their role or their job is in danger (for example, that usually happens to me when i’m the direct employee of someone). From what I can see now, I try to learn from everything, as much and as quickly as I can, because I want to adapt myself to every situation and give my best (i’m usually at peace when everyone is in crisis… but, in the other hand, when I’m in crisis it’s hard for me to handle that). Frequently, I feel that the things that think and the ones I do are not only for me, but for the institution or group that I am in. And in a last part, how can stop being afraid of standing out?. For example, when I’m doing team work, I know perfectly what we should do and how we should do it. If I work too hard and do a great job, people tend to reject me or feel bitter or resentful (that just happened to me when me and my partner we’re creating our thesis). Sometimes I feel that they are waiting for me to take the control in action but I’m always failing and finding myself trying new ways of self-improvement. Thanks for your fast answer.

  16. Hi barry im 32, sorry for my english, I have a question

I found trades of all this personalities in my life, slowly I feel fality to choose one of them as way to master something, I feel like I should have them all (not egoistic) but in the way that I can’t deny any of them in me and just choose one aside of others. I have that same feeling to stages of soul (but without ego). I stil want to be happy as a kid (1 stage), have some sense of morality and rules to create better life for all (2 stage I don’t care about rules but I see that we need them as society), making some money to pay my bills (not taking from others), having love, relations with others and spiritual growth (4 stage) and to express myself and exist, letting other people doing what they do – not forcing them to do or think my way (5 stage). I feel that I could not to be totally happy with just 1 of them.

I see that same things in this division to king, priest etc.. im just not satisfy with being just one of this types. I have hundreds of notes, I had 3 companies im making music I’m being funny (usuly after work) I gues I lack a liite bit of warrior so I’m starting martial arts classes next month.

I feel that making divisions is false I like a litte bit of all of them but I know that this not something that creates mastery just balans. I like to be with people with all of this groups. So what is that means? should I go for balans or mastery? because.. I like both the same way.

    • Hi Mike

I would suggest that you are an Old soul who by now has experienced most of what life has to offer in terms of experience. It is our raw experiences as human beings (specifically, experiences of making choices from different perspectives and with different values) that gradually fill us out from being, say, a “pure” scholar to a scholar who knows how to operate through all the other roles, having tried on the various overleaves over the course of reincarnation. A young scholar with a goal of dominance, for example, has some experience of making choices from a young King-like perspective. (Example: Margaret Thatcher). Our previous soul stages can be likened to the rings inside a tree – it’s all stil in there, but the outer rings tend to override the inner ones.

Let me reassure that there is no law saying that souls of one type should never become like, or fraternise with, souls of another type. Pigeon-holing is not what the life force is about. (If only those who came with the Hindhu caste system had realised this.)

      Balance is the key.

(Mastery is spefically for Kings, who have a drive to master their environment.)

So, fulfilling your true self (soul type, evolutionary stage, and casting influences) does not mean forgetting all you have gained at a soul level .. Even if that were possible. You may have developed some Sage-like wit and wisdom, for example, to add to your repertoire of skills, and there is no reason why, nor mechanism how, you could lose this or anything else you have learned. Everything you learn adds the richness and fullness of the cosmos.

  17. It bugs me that celebrities have been used as examples of king souls (or any soul stage for that matter) how can u possibly know their soul age when you dont know these people from a bar of soap? You are only going by what the media says about them. Thats the front that they put on to the world. We have no idea what they are like behind closed doors…

    • I don’t “go by what the media says” about people. I go by a mixture of channelled readings and personal observation & research for verification.

  18. Barry.

So Happy for your transformation! Much Love.

    Kings don’t really “do” self-depreciation.

What would a King in self-depreciation be like?

    Much Love.

    • Hi Zacahary

Thanks for the love – I’m feeling it!

I think I said Kings don’t really do self-doubt. I would now correct this to be more precise:

Kings are not prone to self-doubt, though they can still experience it, particularly as they evolve. I can imagine it would probably never enter the conscious mind of a younger (Infant, Baby or Young) King, like Alexander the Great say, in the sense that if the King had self-dep it would be suppressed and would play out unconsciously as secretive “avoidance behaviour” — a neurosis that would be kept hidden.

For an older (Mature/Old) King with self-deprecation/depreciation/disparagement, I imagine there would be a conscious lack of confidence in some specific aspect of life, such as intimate relationships.

I personally remember sitting in a meeting with a mix of scientists (like me) and a few military leaders. One of the latter was sitting next to me – a King with James Bond looks. During the meeting there was some discussion about a person (who wasn’t present) apparently feeling unconfident or having self-doubts about his abilities to do the task he’d been assigned. The King next to me looked a bit confused for a second and then said matter-of-factly, “Well, I can honestly say I have ever had a moment of self-doubt in my entire life.”

I have a close friend who is a King (6th level Mature) and despite his obvious mastery at most things, he has occasionally “got it wrong”, such as being too flippant when lecturing to a very serious audience. And then he has momentarily questioned his own competence at what he was doing. But — true to form, for an older King — he just takes this self-awareness of having self-doubts as a prompt to resolve some unconscious aspect of himself that had played out in his lecture.

Having seen him do this several times, the expression that comes to mind is “freakin’ awesome”!

      with love and good cheer

  19. My Friend,

I am grateful. Thank you. I see this much more clearly now.

I am Zach. I am 20, but I’ve been a Michael student for over 4 years now. Mostly I have followed your journey as a communicator and interpreter via this website, along with reading the 2 main books. You and your life’s work have deeply enriched my own life. I have a strong “pull feeling” that we have karma/agreements for this lifetime, although I really don’t know what that is actually supposed to feel like. I feel excited in directly communicating with you, like there is wonderfulness right around the corner that we are slowly approaching. I did not approach you about this subject earlier as you were feeling so drained. Now that you’ve transformed, I’m ecstatic and my drive to pursue this has exploded. I’d like to explore this potential karma if you’re interested.

In addition, I have an unusual but possibly very enriching request. I know that you’re quite devoted to learning new ways to determine a fragment’s overleaves. I’ve recently made my first musical venture, a 9-song album where everything is 100% original. The beats, melodies, and lyrics being created from myself, I know they hold the keys to my overleaves, and DEFINETELY my chief feature. I made the album in an effort to better understand myself and hopefully overcome my chief feature. However, I’d love to get your take on what my overleaves are based off of the album. I realize that this is a hefty task, but I believe that this could open new doors in both of our worlds. It could very well be the beginning of our karma/agreements.

There are 5 main songs that I would like you to use in your analysis, which will take about 25 min. Listening to all 9 would provide a better analysis, but those main 5 should get the job done. I realize one of your features is impatience; hopefully you can use this as an opportunity to overcome some of that impatience.

Please let me know if you are interested.

    Much Love,

    • *splutter* Wow!

Ok, I’m very intrigued to say the least. My mind is boggled.

Yes, I’ll give the tracks a listen. Can’t promise anything of course!

Just thinking in terms of verification from a ‘reliable source’, do you already have (or will you be getting) your overleaves from one of the channels?

      barry 🙂

PS – Both my chief features are way off in the background at the moment.

    • Barry,

You’re Awesome! Don’t feel obligated to comment on the quality. I’m purely looking for overleaf information or whatever else you find important. I think this medium has the potential to be quite effective along with poetry about the self. Not only as a mode of revealing the overleaves, but of working with them and through the chief features as well.

I’m open to getting verification, although I feel like your analysis will be a more trustworthy source for me personally. I’ve had experiences with the “gifted/psychic” in the past that I didn’t find very accurate or beneficial. Furthermore, let me know if you feel any kind of karmatic/agreement pull. I’m down for an adventure. The natural path may be a few years down the line however. I have some exciting projects in mind that may serve as magnets.

I apologize for any vulgarity. This was my first project. Thank you Barry and keep me updated. Psyched you’re feeling up in the clouds and that your chief features are down in the dumps mwahaha!

      Much Love,
      Zach 😀

Here’s the Link: (copy-paste that into the bar if it doesn’t link)

The best samples will be songs:
      1 – The Intro – Good Rootz
      2 – The Story of a Kid
      7 – Ahite
      9 – The Outro – The Zone

The other songs utilize the fake arrogance that popular artists use these days. They’re not worth any actual analysis I don’t think.
If you need more info, Book Two: Water is attached to my profile. Earth is about Childhood, Family, and Body. Water is about, Heart, Emotions, and Relationships. It’s saturated with self.

      Thanks Barry!
      You’re the Man!

    • Hi Zachary,

Not sure exactly when I’ll be able to listen (properly) and get back to you but will try to make it this weekend some time.

      You’re on my ever-expanding to-do list!

      🙂 Barry

    • Barry,

Any progress on the soul-song analysis?
Further, can the Michael system information be used commercially? If the information is used to increase understanding, and is from the Entity, then the intellectual property is not owned. Let me know if this is correct.

      Thanks boss.

    • Zachary!

My humble apologies – life continues apace despite the interruption of a kundalini awakening, lucid dreams, etc. There just aren’t enough hours in the day … But your music came to mind yesterday and as it happens I have a free day today, so the timing is good.

Commercial usage: a whole grey area when it comes to channelled material. I haven’t checked for a while, but I remember it being a catch-22 situation for channels. If they declare that any original “content” comes from another entity, rather than their own minds, then they can’t claim intellectual ownership; the “transcription” of information is their own work but the creation of the content isn’t. On the other hand, if they claim ownership of content then the material, by implication, is just something they’ve made up.

The original transcripts of the 1970s material went out of the public domain after Sarah Chambers handed them all over to Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, who then claimed copyright ownership. But in 2010 they were declared by copyright experts to be public domain, simply because at the time of their creation no copyright mark was added to them.

I think it’s a fine line. All the general knowledge that has been channelled is public domain – anyone can freely discuss the overleaves structure or whatever. It is good etiquette to state your sources, and certainly any direct quote or an unusual concept should be accompanied with an adequate citation or reference (eg, Yarbro 1979 p. 108). What you can’t do is, say, reproduce the major contents of a particular book and claim it as your own original work.

I’m no expert on this, however. And US law doesn’t apply everywhere of course; different countries have their own laws.

  20. To the author,
this article was very compelling and informative. i stumbled across this article in search of a substantial back story to a brand i am building. Some of the items discussed in this article are strait clean and cuts to the basis of what we believe a king to be and for that…we thank you.

As a black man in America I would like to offer the suggestion of providing readers with some African American examples of kings souls. I’m sure thinking back on the struggles of Africans in the US there are some kings souls that contributed their strong aura of leadership to help build dynasties and rise from captivity. For sake of allowing your creative juices to infuse contribution to this subject I will avoid providing any examples. Plus, I consider you to be the expert on the matter.

To no regard I would like to say I enjoyed this article and am glad to have ran across it.

    • Hi Greg

Many thanks for getting in touch. Glad the article spoke to you so cleanly.

As for mentioning Kings of African descent, I’m open to any suggestions you might have and happy to add profiles to the article. I know that the politician Condaleeza Rice and the writer Alice Walker are said to be Kings. Frederick Douglass looks like another for sure.

I would also consider the singer-actor Paul Robeson, who lived quite an incredibly productive life; he was a leading political activist who first came to my attention when I learned of his support for Welsh coalminers.

I also have a suspicion about your good self…

      cheers Greg,

  21. Hey Barry!
I think I might be a king as well. The photo gallery scared the living day lights out of me though! Especially the males. I don’t look that domineering in photos, I even have a playfulness to me that is evident in photos as well. As for the certainty on their eyes, I think I have it as well.
I have the tendency to be in charge and I seek it as well. I love affecting people’s lives and helping people become a better version of themselves. I like seeing success stories and it touches my heart every time I see someone make their dream come true. I’ve always thought of mysel as a ruler of an empire, maybe my own company and making loads of money. I can’t stand the lack of money in my life because it means that there’s something that I have done wrong or a chance I’ve missed.
I also tend to do things in the best way possible coming across as a perfectionist sometimes, but I’m not one at heart I know it.
    What do you think?

  22. Hi Barry

Just a quick note to say the description of the King is excellent. I am bdsm dominant and a Queen within that from the 5 main types of dominants, and this is the best description I have seen for a long time.

  23. I notice all the faces of people showing are white cacusian people is there not any king souls from another race, nationality i find that humorous and predictable. LOL its a difference between the true rulers of the earth and theifs who still kill and suppress the truth from the masses betraying to be royalty, but in reality a bunch of cowardly blood sucking maggots who but not have a tea spoon of royal blood in them.

  24. I don’t have any questions, just a comment. Today the beautiful Irish-born actress Maureen O’Hara passed away at the age of 95. Upon looking at her strong and clearly defined features, she definitely looks like a King soul. RIP Maureen. Thank you for your wonderful work.

    • Ah, I remember her in The Quiet Man with John Wayne (warrior). Don’t know enough about her character but I can see what you mean.

    • Hi Barry,

Thank you for replying to my comment. The Quiet Man has always been one of my favorite movies. 🙂 I decided to do some more research on Maureen O’Hara, and I found this interesting little bit of information on Wikipedia:

“O’Hara did have a reputation in Hollywood for bossiness, and John Wayne once referred to her as “the greatest guy I ever met”. In return, O’Hara said: “I was tough. I was tall. I was strong. I didn’t take any nonsense from anybody.”

That does sound a lot like a King soul, so maybe I was on to something. Lol. I do remember reading somewhere else that John Wayne had once said that in social settings he usually preferred the company of men, with the exception of Maureen O’Hara. Because, as was quoted above, he said she was “a great guy.”

I myself am an artisan soul and I’m pretty sure I have scholar casting. One day I would like to have a channeled reading done, but I’ve taken a few tests and got artisan every time. In fact as soon as I discovered the Michael Teachings a few years ago I knew I had to be an artisan. (I’m a graphic designer and work at an advertising/marketing agency, an industry that is a perfect fit for me).

I thoroughly enjoy your blog and I have found your information on the Michael Teachings to be the most informative by far. Thank you.

    • Oh I had him pegged as a King from day one.

(If not, then I would guess a Sage who has refined his “performance” as a classically handsome man to the max, like Cary Grant, but I don’t see any signs of flamboyance or campness, so I still think King.)

I also think he would make an EXCELLENT James Bond after Daniel Craig.

  25. Hi, I did the quiz and found out I am a King Type! I know I have a natural ability to take the leadership and can motivate people to higher levels. How will I get along with an artisan? what should I look out for, since guys see me as dominant. Which type will best suit me.

    • “Kings have the greatest compatibility with Warriors, who will support them with total loyalty but also stand up to them if necessary. Kings and Scholars are also highly compatible as solid roles sharing a serious outlook and an interest in world events. Kings and Artisans are opposites who experience great attraction though also difficulties in understanding each other. Sages and Priests are charismatic [like Kings] but challenging as romantic partners for Kings – they work better professionally, sharing a broad vision but having separate spheres of responsibility. With their superb nurturing and interpersonal skills, Servers are able to soothe and comfort Kings, getting through their barrier of reserve to achieve an intimacy that few others can manage.” — Elizabeth Puttick, 7 Personality Types, 230-231.

      The potential flash points:

      • Kings tend to set high standards which fluid roles such as Artisans can find intimidating and deflating. (Think of Simon Cowell criticising a talent hopeful.)
      • Artisans tend to be focused on many things at once, which Kings (+ Warriors and Scholars) can’t easily relate to or keep up with.
      • When a charismatic King shows interest in you, it can be hard not to be swept along with it. But if it’s a female King who makes the first move and takes control of the whole dating process, a male suitor can be intimidated — though some men enjoy it as it takes the pressure off them.
      • Kings expect strict loyalty from their partner, though they themselves may find it hard to prioritise loyalty over their own sexual needs.
      • Kings often prefer to be the main breadwinner.
      • “Kings in a rage are formidable and Artisans are not well equipped to handle aggression, so the King will need to learn to rein in their temper while the Artisan will need to find ways of standing up to them.”

So the King needs to apply some emotional intelligence (usually not a problem for a Mature or Old King) and the Artisan needs to make it clear that he is not just a servant but an equal partner who demands 100% respect.

What can work really well is when the King has the success to provide a lavish lifestyle, and the Artisan is free to refine that lifestyle with their great taste and aesthetics.

I know a King + Artisan couple who are in a very successful long-term intimate relationship, so it certainly can work. See my post on The Relating Manual – Jake is the King, Eva is the Artisan. The Relating Manual is actually a website they’ve put together to explain how to make a relationship (even King/Artisan!) really work.

      The book I’ve referenced:

7 Personality Types: Discover Your True Role To Achieve Success And Happinness
      (Hay House, 2009)

    • I think my ex-husband is a young King soul and this might explain why things didn’t work out. But it was a good learning experience for me (mature Artisan).

  26. Hi Barry – yes, he was very focused and success-driven. And at times he could come across as tyrannical. He could also be arrogant, but I think that may also be his chief feature (arrogance).

On a different note, I hope that you are doing well. Much love and thanks again for your website. I visit it frequently as I always seem to learn something new every time. Xx

    • My boyfriend and I are both kings (don’t ask how I know) and so is our boss (we work together). Can anyone tell me how this dynamic might play out in a work environment? The crew is 10-12 people, so it seems like an awful lot of Kong in one place. If you don’t believe it I can send pictures and more detail!

  27. My boyfriend and I are both kings. Can you tell me anything about 2 kings being partners and co-workers on a crew of 10-12? I feel like there is a lot of potential. And I know there must be a lot left out about kings, like how their mode of creativity is different than other roles…? This I have learned from personal experimentation…

    • My Personal experience.

      1. Off – Creativity.

I dont want to give u in depht, Cause i dont care actually for creativity.
I have it, but only naturally. When i think about beeing creative, The chance it might be creative isnt that high. When i naturally get something creative in my mind, it blows people away. Never focused on creativity emily, i dont feel it beeing necessary for me.

      2. 2Kings. – 10-12 Workers

Depends on how you both manage to gether together, as the women you should let the man do the important stuff, and support him where support is needed. If i see that kind of women i automatically notice, and involve her into my buisness, and give her a special role in that group. So she feels important, and actually in that same kingdom. A male doing the supportive stuff just doesnt feels right emely, dont you think so? Obviously it depends from your culture, how you grew up, your expieriences and values. But speaking of MANS in generell, they dont like the supportive women role, feels akward, looks akward. You know?
Im sure you both will find a good healthy balance, or have it found, considering how long ago this post was.

  28. Hi
I intended to write a loooooong post in here sharing some of my experiences in here, which
will interest you, i think berry. Am i right there? Hmmmmhmhm
But i changed my mind, since my mother ( a server soul) bought my favorite candy.
Damn i will enjoy this right now.
Have a great day everybody, if u dont, you just make it. Yes it is actually
    That simple.

Greatest king of the world -Out.

    Special to berry:
Thanks for this article, it helped me alot to handle stuff
If u have interest in what i experienced and how being a king ifluenced me,
    Just drop a message berry.
It is much more chill to write in an instant messanger, then wait days and days over for replys. I am very sure that the things i experienced, will give you very deep indepth you would like to know, how beeing a king affects the world, others, women. Indepths into this power we have, how i managed to get an very aggressive strong and confident presence, that other king souls, or the biggest leaders in our family are still completly lost with this huge presence.
Definitely would enjoy talking to you about it, berry ;p

  29. Hi Barry,

I was just reading a special issue of Time/Life magazine about the life of JFK, as yesterday was the 100th anniversary of his birth (and how fitting that his 100th Birthday fell on Memorial Day, not so much because he was president, but because he was a real war hero). Anyway I just thought it was interesting to reflect on the differences of the positive and negative poles of each role and how stark the contrast can be between the two. In this case, a president who was a young king functioning in the positive pole (Kennedy), and a president who is also a young king but is functioning in the negative pole (Trump). The differences are like night and day.

Of course, these contrasts also apply to all the roles. But as I mentioned, Kennedy was at the forefront of my mind as Monday (May 29) was his 100th birthday and I happened to be reading his fascinating life story.

    • Absolutely, yes. A clear contrast of the + and – poles, not just of the role but also the soul age.
      Young soul
      + achievement
      – self-centeredness
      Cheers Kay.

  30. I DON’T KNOW WHAT I AM!!! UGH!!!

I’ve been researching the Michael teachings for MONTHS on end now, and I’m STILL confused as to what role I am. Omg it’s SO frustrating. Also can’t seem to figure out my soul age. A lot of times I think old, then sometimes I think maybe baby? I was born in California, but the country my parents are from is a baby soul country. I honestly am not very interested in life and pretty much done everything I want to do. Nothing seems really worth doing unless I get a kick out of it. Tired of everything and my life isn’t what I want it to be. I wish I was wealthy and living in peace, alone, maybe with one other person. I wouldn’t care if my life ended tomorrow, but I must be here for a reason from what I read about spirituality. The afterlife also seems like it would be boring. At the same time, I also feel like I haven’t done much of anything in life and have no experience of anything, although I understand everything quite well. Only types of things I’ve done in this life I’ve given them my all and when I reached a high level, I eventually gave them up because there’s no point anymore! Only things I do now are just relax, play games, and look for entertainment in general. Life is so boring, but at the same time I don’t want to go out and achieve anything to make it better. I’m so confused about life and what I should do and why I’m here. I have some survival issues, like I never wanna take care of mundane shit like driving, shopping, getting money, etc. I’m just by myself all the time and I like it mostly but I do wish I had someone to help me. I’m not good at going out and socializing, also not interested enough to, but also kinda feel awkward about it. I dunno if that might be a baby characteristic or what, because it’s one step behind young. Maybe programming from parents. I just wish I was rich and had tons of resources and lived in a castle. Like I really do feel my place is on a throne, even if it’s just an old abandoned castle, and yet now I have almost nothing, but the basics. Is this old king karma? Having it all, now having nothing? I feel so helpless and insufficient on my own. I’m 24, I probably sound retarded and incapable of existing lol. I read old souls long for things from past lives. I long for love too. Can’t seem to find it anymore. It’s kind of sad. I used to do art so maybe I have an artisan twin. I feel like I’m attracted to artists but also kinda hate them at the same time. Well I’ve talked enough. Hopefully you can help me. I’ll leave my email in the email box, tell me your thoughts or maybe we can get in some other way. Talk soon.

    • The solution is pretty simple – just reach into your pocket and pay one of those nice channels for a reading.

I will say that in all the years I’ve been receiving these comments, I’ve noticed that it’s generally Artisans who seem to fail to recognise themselves and get confused. I guess that’s because they have the imagination to identify with every role.

One question – are you still living with your parents? I get the feeling you are not yet fully through the third internal monad.

      Hope this helps,
PS. Everybody who reads this framework at first wants to be an Old King. But Old kings are happy to give it all away – no throne or power is necessary to be truly wise and masterful.

  31. Barry,

No, I’ve been living away from my parents for a few years now. I live with other people, but I do have a job, pay rent, and do everything myself. Still don’t feel fully independent/capable, though. I mean, is anyone really fully free as long as they’re here in this confined reality, not knowing their true self? Everyone has things that hold them back; people, government, 3d reality, lack of skill, motivation, knowledge… No, I still do not feel fully independent until all these things are absolved. I don’t really believe this is a school, I think it’s more of a prison that we were tricked into going into by Lucifer under the guise of it being a learning system, but we got more than we bargained for and most of us have been here since the beginning; Memory wipes when we die, soul recycling, getting put into other bodies against our will, it’s like a soul recycling plant, and no way to stop it unless you get enlightened. Until then, discarnate beings feed off your soul’s negative energy, I suppose, unless you raise it. Our true self, the spirit, is eternal, but the soul is just a collection of lives you’ve lived, and also a bi-product of this game, and we will not take our souls with us. I mean, do you really have any proof that anyone here has escaped, or that Michael is who he says he is? I’m not sure if I believe anything anymore. I just need to get outta here, not going to be tricked by beliefs anymore. I grew up in a religious family and since then I’ve been seeing the trap of a belief, slowly minimizing them, hopefully to find the truth in the end. Or is that another trick? We can’t create anything we dream of, because we’re not in full control. It’s only possible if everyone consciously cooperates towards a better future with no hidden agendas. My only real goal is to get enlightened. Don’t suppose there’s a Michael teaching’s goal about enlightenment? I know there’s a sequence on it. Do you think I’m going through that? Who knows if what Michael says is true or not, but I’m still here looking into it every once in a while.

Thanks for your insight on me being an artisan. I’ve thought about that before, makes a lot of sense, really. If I show you a picture of me, would you be able to tell me my essence twin? I think it might be sage, because I hate people that talk a lot without even knowing anything. Leave me your email or skype if you’re willing to do that. Honestly not really willing to pay anyone yet as first of all I think info should be shared for free out of wanting to help one another, and second, if it was really true, why would you put a price on it? Like does an enlightened person even need money, and would they be so selfish as to ask for money first before they can save the planet? No, they’re fully free to manipulate reality as they wish, and are happy to share everything they have. I tend to think it’s a scam if you have to pay for information, just like scientology, or freemasonry, or any number of clubs/churches/cults with random names.

Do you have any insight on what my goal would be from how I type?

Hope no one gets offended about my opinions. They’re actually a compilation of beliefs/opinions I have from a number of teachings and free info, including everything I could find about Michael, and my own intuition.

Btw, the reply section is kind of buggy when I typed this long post and either the name field disappears or I can’t scroll up on my post any longer, so I don’t even know what I’m sending right now.

  32. I’m certain I am a King/Warrior.

I crave submission from the men and women in my life but I do have things I’d like advice on.

How do I discipline without becoming abusive?

How do I remain consistent in my goals?

    • Hi Grayson. By not running on autopilot but being always conscious of your goals, both functional and social, until THEY become automatic.

Functionally, you want to get certain things done and other people can help you by following your instructions. Socially, you don’t want to exploit or antagonise anyone; you want to be respectful and respected. So you’re consciously choosing never to be be abusive, and always communicating your requirements clearly and cleanly. Your ego might love idea of having power over others, so that’s where you have to consciously align with your actual goals and not what your ego is attracted to.

Each facet of personality has spectrum of different forms of expression, ranging from a positive pole (the most conscious, responsible and pro-social) to a negative pole (the most unthinking, irresponsible and anti-social).

      + = mastery
      – = tyranny

      + = persuasion
      – = coercion

      Goal of Dominance:
      + = Leadership
      – = dictatorship

By being clear of your real goals, communicating instructions or requests effectively, and taking responsibility for problems (instead of blaming subordinates), you keep yourself aiming in the positive direction.
