Reincarnation: the 35 steps of soul evolution

35 Steps

According to many spiritual teachers, all human beings are, in reality, spiritual beings on a human journey. We reincarnate as human beings in order to evolve as souls.

Our ultimate aim is to become fully conscious and capable as unique individual expressions of All That Is. It is a long journey, but that’s okay because the soul is eternal.

Soul Evolution

The soul’s journey is really a process of evolving. This means growing in consciousness, steadily progressing through different levels or stages of consciousness. How do we grow in consciousness? Through taking on challenging experiences in physical form. These cause us to make important, “soul-searching” choices and call upon us to discover our inner resources. But why in physical form? Why would a perfectly happy spiritual being decide to inhabit the physical realm with all of its limitations and difficulties? It is precisely so that we can experience the state of what feels like total separation from others and from the rest of reality. Only by going into this physically separated human form can we know ourselves as beings in our own right, and not just as … well … undifferentiated blobs of energy. Being physical throws our experiences and choices into extremely sharp relief in a way that is not possible otherwise. This is how we learn who we are and how to become all that we are. In other words:

Choice and the ramifications of choice provide the essential lessons of life. In a very real sense, you choose to be here in order to make choices.

The 35 Steps

We are here to know ourselves and be all we can be, step by step. And according to the teachings of the entity known as Michael, there are 35 steps to the reincarnational process. The body and personality you have now are merely the vehicles you have chosen for this latest step in your journey.

But why 35 steps? Why not 36 steps? Or 10? Or 100?

It is simply because, according to Michael, we go through five major stages of evolution through reincarnation. And, within each stage there are seven increments or levels to be completed. (Yes, it is rather like a computer game.) 5 x 7 = 35. 35 steps Each single step requires a whole lifetime to complete. In fact, each step usually requires more than one lifetime. Typically, the entire journey of 35 steps takes well over a hundred lifetimes. So let’s look at the journey in more detail. We’ll start with the five major stages of soul evolution through reincarnation.

The Five Stages

The Michael teachings describe a sequence of five “cycles” or stages of soul evolution. They are named after the stages of human development:

Each of these five corresponds to a specific level of development in capability and self-awareness within the individual soul. As the soul goes through each stage, the focus changes, more experience is gained, and consciousness expands. Michael Newton Incidentally, the same pattern of soul evolution has been identified by the hypnotherapist Michael Newton (right). His groundbreaking research was published in the best-selling book Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives (Llewellyn, 1994). The books by Newton and his students draw upon thousands of transcripts of people who, under hypnotic regression, have re-experienced being between lives. From the higher perspective of their soul they are able to explain what happens after death and before birth. This includes information about the levels of consciousness through which reincarnating souls evolve. What Newton and others have discovered is that souls between lives exist in light-form, and that each soul emanates a particular colour of the spectrum which indicates its current level of consciousness. The spectrum begins at white (all colours) but then goes through red, yellow, green, blue, to deep purple and violet. From low frequency to high frequency. The least evolved souls — the “newbies” — have a pinkish hue. The oldest souls — those nearing the end of the whole reincarnational cycle — have a blueish hue. Although the spectrum is a continuum, Dr. Newton has found that it can be divided into five distinct stages or levels of evolvement, from Level I to Level V. These can be mapped onto the five stages given in the Michael teachings, from Infant soul to Old soul.

So, for example, souls in the middle (or third) stage of reincarnation are referred to as “Young souls” in the Michael teachings and they are at what Newton would call “Level III”. They will have a yellowish or golden hue. (As an aside, both Newton and the Michael entity also identify higher levels of soul evolution which do not involve reincarnation.) The stages of reincarnation (or soul age) can also be likened to the stages of metamorphosis we see in nature, such as egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly. In reincarnation, though, what changes is not the physical form but the mode of consciousness, especially the form of self-awareness and — as a result — the way of relating to others.

Soul age characteristics

Soul age affects how an individual lives, thinks, acts, and comes across to others. Stage 1 — Infant Souls

Infant souls focus on immediate survival needs. They flourish in simple environments close to nature, such as remote tribes or rural, pastoral settings.

In the context of modern society, however, they can come across as uncivilised simpletons or yokels, and may even be deemed to be psychopathic or have some sort of developmental disorder.

Psychologically, infant souls are naive, impulsive and “pre-conventional”, acting on impulse or habit with little or no thought for consequences.

Because they lack both social understanding and self-inhibition, they are capable of committing antisocial or immoral acts without any sense of wrongdoing. As such, they do not fit well within modern society and may end up in prison or in psychiatric units.

While they may lack the moral principles, social graces and cultural understanding of older souls, Infant souls are in a sense completely innocent, being without pretense or agenda.

Stage 2 — Baby Souls

In contrast to Infant souls, Baby souls think a great deal about the rights and wrongs of their actions. Their lives are about safety, security, structure and order — rigidly so. They like to live in communities that are highly principled and “civilized” (think of the Amish).

Baby souls come across to older souls as rather “square” – strictly conventional and conformist. Both their beliefs and their actions are largely rule-bound, so they are often ultra-conservative, traditionalist, orthodox, upright, moralistic, religiously devout, and mindful of law and order.

That said, they will occasionally give in to temptation, or temper tantrum, and break the rules themselves — but then might find themselves tortured with guilt and shame.

They are acutely aware of the rights and wrongs of people’s actions, including their own, though they have little insight into the motives behind them. Bad behaviour is sinful, and that’s that.

Stage 3 — Young Souls

Young souls tend to be extravert, outward-bound, worldly, frenetically energetic, brash, competitive, political, ambitious and individualistic. Life at this stage is about thinking for oneself and asserting oneself as an individual.

Young souls are more ego-driven than others, keen to make their mark in the world. They are generally attracted to some form of worldly success — fame, fortune, power, glory. In fact, they are more fearful of death than souls at other stages, and those who aren’t sure about life after death may be anxious to make a big impact on the world stage, to create some kind of symbolic immortality for themselves.

Young souls cling to their own opinions, with a certainty that their own perspective is the right perspective, and their way ahead is by far the best way. They are very aware of their own agenda but do not really question it.

Stage 4 Mature souls Mature - woman

Mature souls tend to be more reflective than younger souls, with a growing understanding of self, growing empathy for others, and a desire for authenticity in both. Life is less about proving oneself, and more about exploring “right relationship”.

Mature soul consciousness is no longer egocentric, in the sense of being limited to one’s own perspective and agenda, but is capable of accommodating multiple perspectives and different agendas. In fact, there is now a tension between “what I want” and “appreciating what you want,” or between the personal and the interpersonal.

This makes life much more complicated — sometimes overwhelmingly so. On the one hand, mature souls reject narrow-minded values. Yet on the other hand, they are able to empathise with whoever holds those same values. Fixed opinions are replaced by a sense of ever-shifting perspectives — “It all depends on how you look at it”.

This disappearance of solid ground can be hugely stressful, but it kicks off a search for deeper meaning and self-understanding, whether through art, psychology, philosophy or spirituality.

Mature souls tend to question everything, including their own motives, and are prone to do a lot of soul-searching (literally).

Stage 5 — Old Souls mooji 140

Old souls tend to exude some degree of depth, gravitas or wisdom that is quite obvious. In children, it can be most striking (think: old head on young shoulders) For having moved beyond the stresses and conflicts of the Mature soul, Old souls have a growing sense of inner peace and freedom — the freedom to enjoy being very much in the world, but not of it.

Compared to younger souls they are relatively calm, measured, untroubled and stable, unattached to social structures and cultural expectations, being sure of their own existence and inner strengths and their compassion for others.

On the other hand, finding themselves in a world that is so conflicted, chaotic, frantic, and superficial can be utterly depressing.

For Old souls, the aim of life is to find true self-expression and fulfillment. As such, they tend to go their own unique way in life, letting go and letting be, in a detached way that may seem very weird and eccentric to younger souls.

Late-stage old souls find themselves consciously participating in the evolution of all-that-is, and often focus on teaching spiritual wisdom with great compassion.

Note: These descriptions emphasise the differences between stages. In reality, though, there is a gradual blend from one stage to the next. A person at the start of the Mature stage, for example, will act mostly like a Young soul but with elements of Mature soul nature beginning to emerge.

The lessons of each stage

Here are the five stages of soul evolution through human reincarnation, together with the typical learning experiences associated with each stage:

soul age focus 2 450

So we begin reincarnating as Infant souls, complete novices at physical existence. At this first stage we are largely in a state of incompetence and terror, frankly. But through experiences and choices we learn and grow. We steadily progress from being Infant souls to Baby souls to Young souls to Mature souls. Finally, we enter the fifth stage as accomplished Old souls, the experts of human existence.

As infant souls we learned about choices having to do with survival, as baby souls choices having to do with moral codes and ethics, as young souls choices having to do with mastery of achievement, as mature souls choices having to do with relationships, and as old souls choices having to do with the nature of oneness with the Tao. An infant soul would therefore not understand the choices of an old soul although an older soul would likely have more understanding of the nature of younger soul choice having had them.

Soul levels in the human population

The six or seven billion people on the planet span the whole range of stages, but the average is said to be somewhere just past the mid-point of stage 3 (see chart below). In other words, this world is currently dominated by Young souls whose primary focus is competitive self-advancement.

The seven steps within each stage

Within each stage there are seven discrete steps to go through. In the Michael teachings, they are called “levels”, so in each stage we proceed from 1st level to 7th level. Calling these “levels” can be a bit confusing (since Newton refers to the five major stages as “levels”), so I sometimes prefer to call them “steps”. So each stage of reincarnation has seven distinct learning steps. For example, we begin the whole journey at step 1 as Infant souls, learn that lesson, then undertake step 2 as Infant souls, and so on. On completing the 7th step of the Infant stage, we then begin the 1st step of the Baby stage.

35 steps

The early steps in any stage are about experiencing life at this new stage of evolution, learning the essential lessons through appropriate experiences. The later steps are about expressing those lessons, demonstrating this level of consciousness in action. For example, in the Young soul stage, the first three steps — from 1st level Young soul to 3rd level Young soul — are about discovering the meaning of free will and self-determination; the last three steps — 5th level Young soul to 7th level Young soul — are about demonstrating the meaning of free will and self-determination in action. (The middle step — 4th level Young soul — is about consolidating the lessons learned.) The first step or level of any stage is like putting a toe in the water; the final step is like teaching others how to swim:

1st Level Initiation into the new stage. “Toe in the water.” First glimpses of the new consciousness. We come to recognise that there is a whole new way of being ahead of us, and we respond to the call, even though as yet it is beyond our comprehension.
2nd Level Building foundations. Wading in and out. Comparing and contrasting the old and new consciousness. We come to understand what is essential and different about this higher level, though it still remains ‘ahead’ of us, not quite within us.
3rd Level Rising to the challenge. Taking the plunge. We determinedly commit ourselves to actively embrace and explore the new consciousness.
4th Level Integration. Relaxing into it, “enjoying the water.” We now identify ourselves with this way of understanding self, life and others – this is our truth. We fully incorporate and consolidate the new consciousness into our own being.
5th Level Expression. Splashing about – “Look at me!” We openly share and communicate our new, true sense of self and of life’s meaning. We feel drawn to broadcast our truth, to “go public” with it.
6th Level Demonstration. Giving value and benefit to others. “Being a life guard.” Our new consciousness is put to the test. We also burn off any outstanding karma incurred in the earlier steps of this stage.
7th Level Mastery. Peak performance. We have complete understanding and control of our awareness at this level. We know exactly what we are doing. We may feel like a role model. Hmm… What’s next?

This sequence of seven steps is repeated through each stage, making 35 steps in all from the beginning of reincarnation to the end. In case you’re wondering, I’m at the 5th level of the Mature soul stage. My current life’s lesson is about outwardly expressing my Mature soul consciousness.

Many lives

So, we start our evolutionary journey at level 1 of stage I (as “1st Level Infant souls”) and end it at level 7 of stage 5 (as “7th Level Old souls”). There are 35 steps in all. And each single step requires at least one lifetime to complete. A single step can be done in one lifetime but often that’s too big a stretch, so an initial life may undertaken as a taster, followed by one or two more which really go for it. Sometimes a life is interrupted, and the soul will just have to start over in the next life. Also, some lives are undertaken for reasons other than the specific intent to develop. For example, one lifetime might be undertaken primarily to assist another soul in their development. And some lives are taken on primarily for the death experience, for karmic reasons. These can be very short, of the order of days, weeks or months. Taking into account all the gaps spent in the non-physical state between lives, a single step is typically accomplished in about 100-300 years of Earth time. The whole journey of 35 steps usually takes well over 100 lifetimes. Hence, the whole journey is likely to take of the order of 7,000-8,000 years, but possibly a lot more if the population is low and opportunities to incarnate are few.

Questions and Answers

Coming back again and again sounds dreadful. Why don’t we just give up and be done with it? Can’t I just decide that this is my last time?

You cannot skip any of the steps, nor would you want to (from the soul’s perspective). You wouldn’t rent a movie but then skip to the final credits just to avoid the whole process of sitting through the movie. In fact, it’s more like a computer game. You are playing the game because you want to, and at some level you actually love it. And you know perfectly well that you need to master one level before you can move on to the next level. That’s what the game is all about.

Who says?

There’s no tyrannical deity controlling the game, forcing you to keep at it, deciding who gets to “graduate” and who doesn’t. It’s just the natural dynamic of life and the evolution of consciousness. A tadpole cannot suddenly transform into a full-grown frog. A baby human cannot suddenly take on a professional career or family responsibilities. There’s a natural, inevitable sequence to go through. And we’ve all signed up for it.

But why? What’s it all about?

Well, at the level of spirit or essence, all is one, all is love, all is joy. This is all very nice, but consciousness longs to experience more and more of what there is to experience, the utter richness and fullness of life.

How does it do that?

By fragmenting into zillions of conscious entities, each of whom has its own experiences and perspective, and each of whom can make its own choices about what to experience. Any soul can choose to continue being submerged in all-that-is, albeit with little sense of self. Alternatively, any soul can choose to undergo the experience of life in a separate physical form, interacting with other souls in their own physical forms. This is the ultimate way to experience oneself as a self.

And that’s why we are here?

We have all made this choice: to use the human form as a vehicle to help us become more conscious of ourselves as the amazing beings we are. The aim is to experience every possible experience that enables us to emerge more and more consciously and fearlessly as ourselves. We begin as helpless infants for whom the experience of separate existence is quite terrifying. But we end as autonomous, self-realised beings for whom human existence is the most amazing way of being, feeling joyful and free and sharing love with the whole of life.

  1. i think when the time of renaissance begun, mankind collectively reached the young phase. now we are on the edge of similar change and going towards matures time, where we start to invest in individuals rights. right now we can see the extreme society built for the young souls more than ever but we can also see flashes of mature thinking more than ever. for example we are finally starting to agree about the equality of life

  2. This is a question for whomever: It is pretty well excepted that when the body dies, the soul leaves the brain and heads, generally, for the 5th dimension – everyone like to talk about consciousness and vibration levels. So we leave a human via the quantum process called “pair annihilation” as photon emf pure energy and transcend to gamma-ray energy and possibly higher.

Who can tell me where in the brain our soul was and when we convert to pure emf energy what the frequency (wavelength) (vibration) band is in the 5th dimension??

    Reply
    • This is only my understanding. The body is the soul’s expression. The soul “inhabits” the body as water fills a container but in actuality the soul is far more vast than the body and our consciousness as human is a point of focus. There are perhaps more powerful parts of the system such as third eye or heart chakra where the soul is felt more keenly we mist remember that we have an aura, and etheric body that are non physical and a multidimensional self that are all parts of the “Soul”.

NDE’s. etc give us linear accounts of feelings of “me” beyond the body, but the astral or higher self bodies are again a point of focus. In reality we are everything and the idea that “everything” is stored in the brain for me does not compute.

In quantum terms, the body in truth does not really exist as we perceive it and locality itself is an illusion. I’ve had friends who have died communicate, “I am everywhere” or ” how much fun it is to be in so many places at once”. I think whatever lies beyond communicates with us in terms wee can understand in 3D.

As to your frequency questions, that I am not familiar with and what the exact band width is I don’t know. I suppose there are those working on that. The answers would give the atheists fits.

  3. Hi Sam,

‘accepted’ by whom? Unless you mean that people don’t accept (excepted) that we go to the 5th dimension when we die. I certainly don’t, nor do any of my spiritual friends. And we never stop being human, even when we are a spirit. Our bodies are the vehicles that our spirit travels around in, when having a physical lifetime. We create a new one for each journey. We don’t ‘change’ energy in leaving the body. The body ceases to function, we take it off and move on.

Our spirit does not reside within the body in any particular location, although some ancient people’s believed it lived with our liver, and some say within our hearts. Our spirits animate the body, surround it, and connect through our chakra system, at seven major points within the body mass, hundreds of smaller points (called nadis) through-out the body mass, and eight major median points within the spiritual bodies (levels of the aura). In other words, our body mass is within our spirit/soul.

The brain is just an organ, it does not house the mind or soul. It provides a central point for the electrical system, which can be damaged, as proved by people with brain injuries who have to be ‘rewired’ (taught to speak, walk, and other motor skills), The memory is stored within our spirit and we carry it from lifetime to lifetime. Some people choose to be able to connect to these memories (me being one of them), so that they can use the knowledge of other lifetimes consciously in this one. We do this unconsciously all the time. It is not necessary to have past life memories to have a happy and productive life this time around. The spirit functions without the body. The body cannot function without a spirit/soul (spirit and soul are two different names for the same thing).

The ascension people say that we can refine our energy (by changing our beliefs and attitudes) to become 5th dimensional beings, but we live in the 3rd dimension and they still find living here tough. Some say they become 12th dimensional beings, same problem. I have never heard anyone say they are an 8th dimensional being, so I have to wonder about the rest. My belief is that if we did become a 5th dimensional being when alive, we would no longer be seen on this planet, because the higher the vibration gets the less visible it is to lower energy beings.

BTW, as a side-note, I was once give a ‘healing’ that changed the structure of my DNA to 12 strand (instead of 2 as everyone else is supposed to be), according to the lady doing the healing. I should have that tested one day, to either confound the doctors or myself, because it didn’t changed my nature or make my psychic gifts stronger, as she said it would. Lots of people have odd beliefs, the majority of which are probably not true.

In my experience, when we die we have two choices. We become our true greater selves again, as spirits, and return to Source, until we choose to have another lifetime – or we become ghosts, which are lost souls, outside of the higher energies. The ghosts can become spirits again, easily enough, they only have to choose, but they are, in many senses, still 3rd dimensional energy .. they just don’t have their bodies anymore. And if you want to speak to ghosts, there are toys out there now which can work, but if you want to speak to spirits, we do it all the time when we are sleeping. So make your request before you sleep and then try and remember your dreams. You might surprise yourself.

    Food for thought ..
    Love & Peace
    Ama

    • I agree with almost all of what you say except this
“The ascension people say that we can refine our energy (by changing our beliefs and attitudes) to become 5th dimensional beings, but we live in the 3rd dimension and they still find living here tough. Some say they become 12th dimensional beings, same problem. I have never heard anyone say they are an 8th dimensional being, so I have to wonder about the rest. My experience is we exist in all dimensions. Its a question of what we want and are able to access and what is functional or of the highest for any moment. I see the issue of “ascension” (rising up) as not quite accurate. The real issue is “descension”, bringing higher frequencies and anchoring them into the 3rd dimension.

People like Jesus imo opinion were able to integrate all multi-dimensionality at once. Everyone innately has the same capacity. But the core of this web site is information on the stages of development and why most can’t do that at this time. A caterpillar is not yet a butterfly. So all dimensions exist simultaneously within. I can feel frequency differences at different times but I don’t have to “go anywhere”.

So I agree, the soul is always containing all potentials at every moment. When you drop the body, usually you regain access to higher frequency because 3D no longer binds you to its focus..

But you don’t have to die to do it.

  4. Ken and Ama – To a certain extent we are talking semantics. A certain % of our soul stays always “at Home” in the 5th (or if you are someone really special, maybe a higher) dimension. When we chose to incarnate on earth in the 3rd dimension, a certain % actually descends as photon energy to this (the 3rd) dimension and physically integrates with the fetus brain via “pair production” into the Pineal gland.

We are obviously 5th dimension beings, human or whatever, we could be travelers who choose to experience many other species in this galaxy/universe or another universe. If we feel we won’t hinder our learning curve for an incarnation we may chose to maintain our 5th dimension consciousness and memories for any number of reasons. I would imagine to facilitate communication.

Some of us that are a little dumber, chose to block the ability to directly communicate with our higher self, and friends, and guides, ascended masters, or others. We chose to do this so our learning curve will be enhanced and not biased by previous incarnation knowledge or acceptance of common 5th dimension knowledge. Therefore I require vetted mediums for communication.

I can flat guarantee I won’t do that again if I need to incarnate again. I will bring all my knowledge even if I slow my learning / evolving curve.

Part of my studies is exactly for atheists, scientists, engineers in proving, using physics, in that when a human body can no longer sustain life but energy must be conserved – our soul will depart the pineal gland via pair annilhilation (transition) and return to its Home with new experiences and learning to further ehance our evolvement. At that point our soul is once again complete and a 5th dimension emf vibration (or higher if your special, like an ascended master) and can communicate up and down the frequency spectrum from DC to cosmic.

If we feel we have some unfinished business or just want to hang around for a bit in the 4th (ghost?) dimension, we can do that too. But usually we just want to get Home, rejoin ourself, rest and then get back to evolving.

    • Hi Sam,

I am having a holiday after I am dead. I came back into life only 18 years after I died the last time, and it was not long enough. LOL

I am curious – in your opinion, is God/Source/whatever a 7th dimensional being? Are the angels 6th? That would make ascended masters (human) 5th, leaving average humanity (spirit) 4th, the living 3rd, ghosts touching 2nd and demons 1st (with some crossovers on all levels). That’s technically how I understand the hierarchy of heaven.

I agree about just wanting to get Home after dying, but having spent time as a ghost, I can also understand why some people choose that path. You learn next to nothing, going around in painful tight circles of emotions, but all learning adds to our knowledge, and the outcome is generally not harmful .. except to our karma.

    • Sam,
On a practical note I teach “connecting to your guides”. Everyone has the ability. At this stage you could open more than you think. I use writing as it grounds the information and flow. If you sit quietly with a notebook, perhaps some music, ask your guides to help you connect and open to the process of communication with them. Don’t filter what comes. Often we get caught in “Is it me or God”? Don’t ask that. Just let it flow. With practice you will see authenticity.

Mu suspicion in what is holding yourself back is your BELIEF that you can’t do it. I thought that for a long time until I began doing it. Now I teach it.

Taking intuitive development classes helps as does being in the energy of good collective meditations, especially channeled ones. Explore not leaning on the external channels and mediums as much. Experiment with your own self reliance in this regard.

Above all, what might hold you back is unrealistic expectations, that its like developed people or nothing. It takes time, just like learning to play an instrument. Give yourself and your guides some space for small steps and I think you will be surprised.

      “Let go, Let God”

  5. Ken – there are two elements we are talking about. One is our Christ Consciousness or awareness or sentience or evolvement to our Creator and Oneness. That matters not what dimension our vibration (or part of) is occupying. And depending on what we are focusing on experiencing to further our evolvement will determine what we allow ourselves to be aware of.
The other is our actual vibration (or emf frequency). It is kinda like the 3rd dimension is the visible (just an example) band [500nm / 600teraHz] and 5th dimension is gamma-ray band [1femtometer / 300 zettaHz]. When in the 5th dimension (gamma-ray) we have a visble aura modulated signifying our level of evolvement from a “dirty” white, & lite red to a deep purple. Souls beyond that aura is a brillant white (ascended masters), elvolvement is no longer of any year consequence as they are while keeping their individuality are Oneness and 100 % Christ Consciousness with the Creator. They create, teach, focus on embodying everything in unconditional love.

    • Hi Ken et al, interesting thought about descension, except that we are surrounded by 5th dimension (for want of a better description) and higher vibrational energy all the time, so we don’t need to ‘anchor’ it anywhere. We live in a state of separation from Source (God or whatever else name people want to use) by choice. We live without past lives memories by choice. I don’t think the problem is that people ‘can’t’ feel the higher vibrations, but more that they don’t choose to. We underestimate the power of choice, of free will, in our lives, particularly before we come into each incarnation. We when choose to act from anger rather than love we increase the separation from Source, from our natural state of ‘being’. Separation is lonely, it leads to fear, so we invent pretty names to explain our lack of understanding, which just leads to more confusion.

I agree that we are all multidimensional beings, all the time, but our bodies exist with the third dimension, not the fourth, fifth or 12th. To remain within the body and have the physical existence, we have to remain 3rd dimensional beings, at least for the length of the process (life). After that or the blocks we have built around ourselves, to memories of multiple lives behind us, and to touching higher Source energy, disappear … unless we choose to become ghosts, which are not 4th dimensional beings, but rather closer to 2nd, if we must give their energy a label .. they are closer to the dark than the Light, and only Lighten up ‘after’ they choose to return to their true spiritual energy (higher vibration).

I think we need to remove the labels of 4th, 5th, 9th, 13th, or anything else we are inventing. They get in the way of the logic of saying .. our true self inhabits a slower, lower, more dense vehicle, for a while .. and then we go back to what we are .. aspects (pieces) of the great I AM, choosing to experience Separation.

  7. IN the end, wee are talking about the same thing. Rather than “anchoring” i might use the word “integrate. My actual experience of all of this is far less than my intellectual understanding.

I agree that for the purpose of the drama, game or “Lila” or whatever metaphor one wishes to use, that which is everything creates individuation and basically that individuation involves frequency. So it depends on which lens you wish to use. I agree with Ama that for our purposes here, the primary focus is 3rd and it would be hard to “quickly” try to maintain for example a 5th dimensional consciousness in toto.

The point of the Soul Age aspect of the Michael teachings is that there is a long gradual progression from apparent separation and more primitive states to greater maturation. This maturation to me is a “reintegration” with what one already is, as from one lens, one is already everything and there is nowhere to go.

I do however, disagree that our essence has any particular location within the body..

So to me the Angel or Master of higher intergalactic being knows of its true identity and can easily merge with that, or present itself as individuated when circumstances dictate. Because the Source (which is everything) allows itself to play this out apparently in stages, there simultaneously can be “differentiation” of dimensional frequencies.

In any game or movie, there needs to be structure, rules, organization. movement and coherence.

However, when the game or movie is over, all go home. So we are basically saying the same thing. Just depends on the particular perspective you wish you involve yourself with at any moment.

I do agree at the highest level choice is involved, but per stages of development, many “souls are not capable of integration. A kindergartner cannot fathom a 5th grade curriculum, much less a PHd.

    • P.S. I don’t think we are “pieces” of the I Am. We are the I Am itself. Fully. “Thou Art That”. However this could be looked upon as just semantics.

    • Hi Ken, thank you. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and opinions. What you have written leads to more thoughts. I reread the title of the site ‘personalityspirituality.net and wonder if what you are describing is the personality of a person, which grows and hopefully matures over a lifetime, and what I am thinking of is the Spirit of each, which is perfect, but chooses to experience the roles of ‘separation’ as either lessons, or entertainment, for Source. (If it is not so, why do the Michael angels use the term ‘play’ when they make serious requests from me?)

I agree that at maturation that spirit reintegrates into the greater “I AM”, which is just another name for Source or God – but they do this at the end of every lifetime, when they return Home.

The human spirit was created to learn and grow, which is why we have the gift of Separation, which is something that the angels do not have. We can not fulfill purpose of our creation if we do not play the game of separation. Personality, however, is just an assumed cover, like a mask, we choose each time we incarnate – it dissolves at the body’s death, the Spirit then reunites with Source, unless the person becomes a ghost. No soul is ‘not capable of integration’ at any time, because separation is only a game we play. We all remain a part of the greatest Self, like a raindrop in the ocean. And each time we reincarnate we draw from different aspects of the Self (I AM) to create new lessons and adventures, not exactly the same person we were before, although we might be close to it in personality, depending on what we choose to learn.

  8. Ama, Ken, et al – What a cool conversation, to me. Alot of people freak out a bit when discussions like this get started. And so much we align to. As I mentioned, I blocked myself so thoughly I have to rely on Mediums and Masters (usually Lord Stefano, twice to Lord Germain) willing to channel those mediums (most favorite medium is Rev Hoyt Robinette) plus 10’s of books I’ve read, but principally Dr. Michael Newton’s four books about the more than 8000 souls he has recorded their hypnotheraphy sessions.

Everyone I talk to through mediums or channeling do not term dimensions but simply call it “Everlife” and Newton refers it to be “afterlife”. Only certain books and authors refer to dimensions. As related back to me there is no Hierarchy just evolvement for better understanding, acceptance and practicing of unconditional love and to eventually be more closely attuned to the Creator. Everything and Everyone is part of the Source/Creator but we maintain a certain level of individuality, like fingers on a hand – thus I AM that I AM or just I AM.

As we learn and evolve we all have “jobs” if you will, when we return Home, even if we are still reincarnating. Primary for all even while learning is to be teaching. Plus some babysit newly sparked souls, some attend to souls returning from an incarnation, some help souls plan their next incarnation, some help souls who made some poor “free will” choices and need their black energy spots cleaned and healed, so more advanced learn how to create inanimate tectonics or even leaves on a tree.

When my Mother was here and I would take her with me to a medium and the medium always asked, “why are you here?”, she would just smile and say, “to help my family”, of course. Come to find out she is about two levels of envolvement of my own guides and is Lord Monténe. But she says, “while you are still there, I am just Gladys or Mom”. I talk to my guides and immediate family and closest friend every night but only get answers when I visit a medium. My closest friend (who was a big-time fundlmentalist-evangilist here) said “your correct Sam about where we go” and is teaching a class slightly less evolved. He also said he is considering another incarnation.

It is extremely hard for me because everything at Home is in the Now and time as we know it is completely different. As Richard Bach said in “Illusions” – coming here is like going to movie, we get locked in and so involved and the whole is to learn or have fun. You are correct Ken!!

You are correct Ken – And regardless what you evolvement really is, when your young in an incarnation, you usually don’t exhibit your true counsciousness. I was a highschool dropout who joined the Navy. All I could think about was get educated and learn electronics (1960). Then start a family, make money. Finally in my 30’s listen to my Mom and the I AM and philosophise a bit. Finally in my 50’s acceptance of who we are in THIS universe and the vastness and the creator’s love. And now in my 70’s I’m told I’m getting close to coming Home but must publish my knowledge and thots about unconditional love and the Everafter.

Ama, I agree, no dimensions, I use the analogies to communicate with non-believer techies to quantify and freak ’em out with something they can’t prove. The love to say, “prove it” and I say, “disprove it” – plus like I told my best friend, “When you transition, a guide will take you Home to rest, go to your soul group, then go to work” – this always causes havoc with an atheist.

Most of us are constantly evolving (our real purpose), teaching others to evolve, with the goal of fully integrating as part of the “Oneness” and still have individuality. We have infinity and it is all NOW.

(P.S. what i wouldn’t give for a spellchecker in here)

  9. One question, Ken. How can we be fully the “I AM” if we need to evolve?

IMO, without separation (being pieces of the whole) you would not be ‘you’, and I would not be ‘me’ .. both of which are a creation of the mask called personality. Every level of the journey we choose to experience is a choice .. so we can be a baby soul one lifetime, and an ancient the next.

    • Ama,
Two sides of a coin do not make two coins. One can engage in the illusion of separation, for in truth separation never really happens, and in the illusion play the game or drama of evolution. Thus this site is about the 5 stages of Soul evolution in the human soul journey called a “grand cycle”

As an analogy. I became a professional storyteller at age 42. In reality I was always a storyteller, I just wasn’t in touch with it. But it was never “not me”.

We go to a play. While there we are immersed in the story, to the point of strong emotion, even profound shifting in our lives. Yet the characters and situations were never “real”, the actors, writers, directors, etc created something but their true identities were always who they are and could never change because they played a part in the drama.

Thus although we experience ourselves as “pieces” of God, it is like my hand is part of my body, not a piece of food on a plate. To me the more correct word is “extension” or “expression” of the whole. The full connection is always present, just allowed to forget for the purposes of the game.

Therefore enlightenment to me is simply awakening to what is and has been always fully present and truthful, not gaining something that wasn’t there.

In the beginning of the journey I did not “realize” that.

    • My understanding from these teachings, and those of others like Michael Newton is there is no jumping around like that. One cannot go from A-Z. The order is rather set. One is not a baby, then an adult the next day. Maturity has to be earned.

  10. Ken – I have been trying for almost 40 years to reach a theta state, cannot relax or focus sufficiently – the same with meditation and calming. I say and believe “I can”, but it doesn’t come to pass. No longer important – soon bi-directional Comms via telepathy will be there because I’ll be there. I’m quite happy with an occasional intution and Lord Stefano and Mom teaching me in my dreams.

As I understand it we are not on any “track” to evolve or learn. We are not even obligated to incarnate, we can “just lay around heaven all day” if that’s our gig. The aura will remain a dull white and not evolve through the rainbow. But if that our choice we are wasting some much joy and love.

If we chose to incarnate we can chose to just have fun or just exist as a pre-historic man, or a harrowing Viking.

I personally want to evolve and become closer to the Oneness of the I AM. I desire to learn a lot of scientific processes and creation. Some of my negative emotions still exist and the best i have is I know this and can’t fully be involved in unconditional love until I elvolve some more. It is important to me to continue so I will be of value to others. But I do have eternity to achieve.

    • Have you asked these channels and mediums about this issue? What is their response? I’d be interested. Also Their advice
      1) Your capacity for this
      2) What practical steps will help you

I think they should have strong insight into the issue. External dependency is not a condition our Guides are interested in..There can be some kind of balance.

God as self imo opinion does not leave us alone without solutions. Just an observation. You used the term ‘theta state’. To me that is rather meaningless or vague. Its just simple. You feel connection or you don’t.

Years ago I had an experienced reader tell me I was a reader. I told her she was crazy. I didn’t and perceived that I couldn’t do stuff like that.

Now I’m a reader. Go figure.

I have a friend who has great abilities in this. But she leans heavily on a channel. Her issue stems from confidence. It manifests as messages that don’t make sense.

I told her its not the guides but her own disconnection. As I encouraged her to firmly ask the guides to give her messages in forms she could understand and process, things started to change. Her willingness started opening he channel. Its a very intertwined “relationship”. She was the one unconsciously doing the blocking.

    • According to Newton and the Michael teachings of this site, There is a “grand cycle” that souls go through. So we are on a “track” and it is quite specific. I have heard some souls don’t want to come here because its so tough, but the Soul is strong.

Matt Kahn (look him up, his video talks are amazing) says growth is a function of time (duration) and intensity. You can grow or learn slowly with more duration (many lives) or more quickly (intensity). Most souls, he said, choose intensity. These as Newton pointed out are “accelerated lives”.

Just a question. About “wanting to evolve”. Who is it that “wants” this. The point I am getting at is the conscious mind is not the generator or decider of this stuff. It comes from a part of self way beyond that.

Or as a very advanced Buddhist Nun I saw once said “:I take no personal responsibility for anything”. If it was my karma, I would be Stalin”.

Or as the Yogi’s say,”Who is the doer in all of this”.

“Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes, grass grows”

  11. Hello Ken, you wrote ‘no jumping around’ .. in my experience, in these times of change, there are now many souls incarnate on the planet who are not just ‘old’ but have gone past the reincarnation cycle completely, and incarnate as needed (by request), on all levels, to help others with their journeys. They are not bound by the rules of ‘one step after another’. They can create both chaos and calm, simply by existing. You might think of them as catalysts.

    • Ken, the answer you wrote that commenced “Two sides of a coin do not make two coins. One can engage in the illusion of separation, for in truth separation never really happens … “. I clicked the ‘like’ button, but there should be an ‘excellent’ one. 🙂 Thank you.

    • Well I would agree with that but its apples to oranges. I think in the “normal” cycle it doesn’t happen but in the circumstances you describe, then it could.

  12. Sam, I agree about the spellchecker, for me.

After I die I am going on holidays. I think I wrote that already. I didn’t have one last time around, but a group of us have decided we are going swimming in shark invested waters, for two reasons .. one – we don’t have to worry about snorkels or drowning, and two – we do not have to worry about being bitten.

As for relaxing enough to reach theta .. not a chance; however, I can slip in and out of trance at will, but I do not channel. It is unnecessary. I just ask questions and get answers, within my specific fields of expertise. I work with Archangel Michael and his crew, but not one of them has ever addresses me as ‘Beloved’. (However, the kitten, fast growing into a cat, has now launched herself onto my shoulder again, where she drapes herself, purring loudly, and interferes with all my writing and typing. Am I her beloved, or just her electric blanket? LOL)(She has now gone to sleep).

As to us all sitting around eating lotus flowers, I can’t think of anything more boring. One of the reasons humans incarnate is because of the internal drive to create both chaos and peace. As I wrote earlier, we were created to create, and although we have free will and can ‘lotus eat’ as long as we want, there is no time in heaven – but there is on earth, and a part of us believes that we might miss out on some fun, strange or significant events here, if we don’t come back regularly to join the fun. But then, if we think of time as a circle, we can literally incarnate ‘when’ we want to, rather than in a linear fashion.

And all of that can create a tremendous amount of confusion in the minds of newcomers to esoteric thinking, or arguments, which might explain why people tend to stay away from this sort of conversation, which is a pity .. just like they tend to avoid the religious folk who want to spout and pontificate, or simply have a chat about Love .. which is, after all, what all of this is about, in the end. The Creator created Self, the self created selves to learn about Self, the selves created humanity and told it to learn about it-self .. and so it does .. one raindrop at a time.

    Utterly fascinating.

As the webpage is doing strange things, I have no idea where this answer will end up so I have copied it here.

No, I am not of a group of 9, although I am a nine in numerology. I am of a group of 1001, gathered on the planet at the same time to help hold certain patterns of evolution to certain outcomes that will, hopefully, stop humanity destroying itself again. We all know we are servants, but that we here by choice. And yes, I speak to Spirit directly, mostly with the Michael hierarchy, but I can communicate with any that I want to.

As to the vacation .. you are welcome to join us. When the moment is right, we’ll all be there. It should be a very interesting crowd of ‘individuals’ out for a day’s .. or whatever .. frolic in deep water .. as if we don’t already frolic in deep water simply by being alive at this time in humanity’s history.

Here’s to keeping our toes wet,
      Love & Peace
      Ama
(I have amused my angels). 🙂

  13. You’re very close. Consider, however- for moment, this idea.
There are many kinds of people, at each “level of soul evolution”. Some souls reach a certain “level”, and although they are “in tune”, they for some reason or another, choose to continue to be part of the material cycle, and do so in fairly limited bodies.. TBH, I don’t know why it does this. Due to its rather large, yet very ordered flow, it can inhabit many separate bodies at a time, creating it’s own personal reincarnation cycle, that doesn’t get affected, or affect the evolution around it. It seems to just enjoy it.

Souls are just e energy, tho.. so a soul can be a blade of grass- or an entire planet, given time, and the right conditions…
Is there a point to it? Maybe. Perhaps it’s sheer random chaos, but enough chaos contains boundless possibilities.

I will tell you this though. 100 cycles is a good roundabout figure for how long it takes to have reached a level of harmony in your resonance to be able to condense, and intensify.

  14. I agree with you that all these systems are reflections of something greater that is put in terms the human intellect can understand. However I would disagree tat there is not an organization to the process. If we look at the Universe and development of life on Earth, movement from simple to complex seems to be its nature.

Whatever system is suggested, Hinduism for example or the newer models such as the MIchael teachings, this movement is reflected. In other channels I have been with that I respect, this process in the human of “maturation” is consistent.

Therefore, there does seem to be an inherent organizational movement. Perhaps there is fluidity within the form perhaps fluidity in the larger process, but as the river flows to the sea, so the part moves to reintegrate with the whole.

I don’t see souls jumping from human to blades of grass. However long evolution in the plant form may be part of the design. We think of human as a pinnacle. Now I am not so sure.

    Different, not superior.

    • Lemme clarify the grass” comment: I’m not saying a human could fit in a blade of grass- but everything has a soul.
I can promise very little, despite vast knowledge ( though my comparatively infantile grasp on emotion hampers me, and seriously, ive not really had an easy time here, I’ve never been mammalian until I came here, and in fact not even a vertebrate.)
      All matter has a soul.
      Just ask Terra.

Also, humans can’t even see the “top”….. humans are not even the current pinnacle here. this should make you rejoice, tho. It means it gets better, and! There’s so much stuff you’ll get to experience. Logic wise, in full presence, I could nearly see that top… wasn’t even close, mind you…. but then, upon discovering emotions, I was humbled. And still am.
I’ll gladly come off generally Childish because of this, since I’ll learn the most knowing I know the least.

“As awareness expands, it connot contract.
It can be distorted, but it connot contract.
Once one has known a human consciousness
    there would be little use
in being a blade of grass again,
for the karmic structure of the human being
is far more complex and aware.”

  18. Hello Bubu, from my own experience I know that the spirit/soul continues after the body dies. Your husband will be keeping watch over you, although you may not be able to see, hear or sense him if you do not have the spiritual gifts to do so.

Yes, you will meet again after you return to the heaven you believe in.

One way I suggest people communicate with those they have loved is to ask them to come into your dreams and talk to you. Have you had any dreams about your husband since he died? Perhaps it would help to talk to him as if he was in the room with you right now, or write him a letter telling him how you feel. With the letters we suggest people burn them, as the message reaches the spirit both in the writing of it, and in the releasing of it to the heavens.

The pain in your heart will lessen over time. You did not say how long ago he died, but grieving is a process which takes its own time to work through. We have to let ourselves heal. Sometimes we cling on to the pain for far longer than we should, because we are frightened to let go .. but letting go is exactly what we need to do, so that we can move on in life. But it will be in your own time, and you can ask your husband for his help with this too. He knows what you need and will be wanting to help you heal too.

Otherwise, if you know of someone who can communicate with people who have crossed over, you could arrange to speak with them and see if there is a message for you from your husband, or someone else in your family that reached ‘heaven’ first. This can bring comfort too, if you let it.

    Love & Peace

  19. Hey guys,

I have one question that I hope someone can answer. If souls are eternal, how can there be a beginning and an end to their conscious evolution? If they are eternal, by definition there is no starting point at which they begin as a baby soul, because something that’s eternal has always existed.

The only answer I can think of is that this whole system applies to a new off-shoot of a soul. So, perhaps when an oversoul decides to create a new entity to send to Earth, that new entity starts at the beginning of this process? And then I guess it would rejoin the oversoul when it was finished?

However, my impression was that each “sub-soul” under the oversoul is not separate enough from the oversoul to have such an individual evolution. I’m not sure why I think that other than just what I’ve picked up over the years of reading channeled information from different sources.

(I did not read all the comments, so apologizes if this has already been discussed.)

    • My take on this:

I think it helps to note that eternity doesn’t mean infinitely long time; eternity is simply now, the present, which as no beginning and no ending. The passage of time is a function of perception within the constraints of physical existence. Souls are not usually constrained by physical existence, and so do not normally experience time. They only experience it while incarnate – i.e. while their consciousness is wedded to the experiences of a physical organism.

From a soul’s perspective in the non-physical now between incarnations, there is no perception of time but there is nevertheless the perception of their own evolution – the progressive expansion of their own consciousness. All souls are undergoing a non-physical subjective evolution that has no start point in time and no end point in time, but that still proceeds through distinct stages.

  20. My take. First we must remember that what is unfathomable is trying to be translated into human linear terms. In Hinduism there is what is called “Nirguna” (Without qualities.) This is formless, eternal, and infinite, beyond all conception. Within this infinite sea there lies infinite *potential* and infinite *possibilities*.

However that which is latent has not been expressed. At some point within this vastness, eruption occurs and expression or “creation”, in his case the exploration of individuation, takes place.

We conceive of this in a linear fashion. “Something” streams out of “something else”. However Seth says this is not so. At the moment of eruption, instantaneously, a luminosity fills the entire vastness of what is to be the physical Universe. However, all forms that are to be are contained “within” this luminosity, like figures arising from the canvas. All potentials are included.

The stream of “soul” or “life” energy is both contained in and continuously pours forth from the formless and this luminous canvas.. Thus individuation continues and moves as “step downs” occur into density for the purpose of this exploration and investigation of separation.

But there are levels at which individuation is occurring in which “separation” does not exist. (Angels, etc) Therefore all theaters (or levels or dimensions) are continually interacting and interfacing at once.

In truth, there is no separation, no individuation. It never really existed. There only is one. Therefore each is truly the whole itself, having allowed forgetting at whatever level it is at for the sake of the adventure and creative process. In this respect everything already is at all levels and in all dimensions already.

If your foot falls asleep, did it go anywhere?

So all these things called “evolution”, at all levels, are allowed to play out, in the same way that a movie is a giant illusion. The sets, the costumes, the locations, the characters, the plot all are not real and all disassemble when the film is done. The only reality is the one light. But the*appearance* of “realness”: when watching it can be quite strong.

So the infinite All That Is imbues itself into every facet of the drama it creates, remembering, yet allowing part of itself to forget. Like a giant symphony, it all blends together and is interwoven.

That’s why pictures of Krishna have him spinning the Universe on his finger.

  21. Hi Bonnie, great question. Here’s another answer to consider.

When the spirit/soul was first created, it was a being of one ‘form’ (energy), with no knowledge of ‘itself’. It existed, but did not know existence. It “was”, but did not know “I am”.

In comparison we, as beings, cannot comprehend not knowing the beginning and the end. It just ‘was’, but how it was created, where, when and why .. we do not know, and since there are probably as many theories as there are thinkers, we may all glimpse a small part of the answer, but only from within the limits of our comprehension, and the boundaries of thought that make us comfortable and feel safe. Hence the different answers.

Having said that – there is no generic name for God. But since that being decided to learn the limits of ‘self’ it had to give the self a title, and as it appears it is a singular being encompassing ‘all that is’, the Self became “I” and the “I” knew it existed as the “I” became “I AM”.

To learn the “I AM” had to experience itself – so it created “other”. A reflection of the vastness of itself, but still within the “self”, as though a reflection in a mirror. But since it only saw itself, which was a static image, it desired something, and this desire became curiosity, and curiosity desired difference, and so the ‘other’ began to fragment, as if someone dropped the mirror, or broke a few pieces off it ‘just to see something change’.

The first ‘piece’, for want of a better descriptive word, was the ‘other’ called angels (by human language), which are, for the most part, a group mind within a group mind. For example, the Michael address themselves as “We”, regardless of the billions of them spread across this world and through the energy of creation, what one Michael knows they all know. It is the same with every other group of angels, no matter what title (they are not names) they work under, or the nature of their activities. The Michael took on the aspect of strength, balance and supervision. They became soldier, warrior, protector, warden, policemen, and guardian after the human spirit ‘self’ was created. Before that there was nothing to guard.

Curiosity splintered the angelic ‘self’ and proved a useful, if limited, tool for the I AM. It seemed there was more to learn from watching movement, perhaps there was a moment of confusion? We don’t know, we just know that suddenly chaos was created, perhaps the reflection of the strength (weakness), balance (imbalance) and supervision (chaos) .. and the I AM saw chaos’ work among the Michael and spread it out among the other activities (angels) of the Self that will never see themselves as individuals, but now we call them Elohim, Archangels and angels. That’s cutting a long story short.

There were only 12 Elohim. One Elohim, who was created to teach Wisdom and Illumination, had nothing to teach, since all the angels knew everything they need to know, and continue that way. It went among the others and requested their help. They then, as a group, went to the I AM and asked its permission to create a being that was all about chaos and learning, all about change and possibility, and the I AM seeing this as a new form of ‘Self’, allowed, and so the Elohim created the ‘humanity’ Spirit/Self .. and that being, like the others, was reflected into the mirror, fragmented, and became ….

Humans are a linear being, with a beginning and an ending. From the moment of creation they knew chaos and change, they craved knowledge and wisdom, they craved Love, they lived in confusion, like a small child, when it first really sees more than itself and wonders about … everything … because that is its nature, and that is what it was created to do. The Spirit that is humanity desires to learn about itself, and so it created ‘other’, and continues to create ‘other’, but no two are ever totally alike, but some can be very similar. We, as living being, housed in these impermanent covers (bodies) are the ‘other’ that the Collective Consciousness (as its now called by some) creates. We, as ‘I’ create our individuality, gathering bits and pieces of what we have been to become something new. The personality is a mask we wear, and release when the body dies and we return to the I AM. So we began, and we end, and we return to our true ‘Self’, which is the human Spirit, which is a part of the greater I AM, which is the being the angels call ABBA (Arbah), and which we, living people, give many names .. one of which is God, or Allah, or many others, in many other forms.

There is no new offshoot of soul, there is simply us. There are no baby souls, but all of us began in innocence, created from chaos. It suits some beings learning to come into the world as ‘innocent’, or ‘baby’ soul, to relive the process of learning, or to act out behaviours that are unacceptable in some societies, and forgiven in others – but it is simply another expression of the chaos within the human ‘Spirit’, a drop of which each of us are. Our number is unlimited, until we learn to limit ourselves, and no one will stop us destroying this physical plane if we choose to, because we were created to create, and the reflection in the mirror of creation is destruction. We must learn to control ourselves .. even now, when chaos seems to reign.

We cannot blame others for what we do, and we will never be judged for it – we are creation/destruction personified, and we have created and destroyed ourselves multitudes of times .. until we learn better .. perhaps then the I AM will gather itself back into ITSELF and simply disappear .. but I am in no hurry for that to happen. I like being human.

  22. Just asking. What about the animals, plants, rocks, water, clouds, sky, etc and that’s one planet of unfathomable diversity. What about the nebulae, novas, rings of Saturn and a bazillion galaxies, star systems and planets?

    • Yes, Ken! In fact, it is far easier to travel this “dimension” as a inanimate.
I do not feel that your “Micheal” has lied to you, he may have not told you all.

I Am a “fragment”, and actually (like numerous others) traveled to here as an inanimate.

You can ask Micheal to tell you about 8/octoris/Beelzebub/ect.

He may Also be able to endow the “key” (I think that is all you will need) to read the record yourself. PLEASE Pace yourself… too much at once is very draining.

I would advise having another medium, or at the very least, a (insert lack of human word, your MK will imprint to you) to ask you your question to you as you listen for your answers.

It makes an old bug feel good..you two!

  23. Ken, what about elementals that are created by, and create, the animals (including us), plants, rocks, water, clouds, sky etc on every planet in a multitude of forms suited to their environments. I believe our planet is sentient, I also believe that other planets would be too. The human body is created from the DNA of the planet. Can we survive anywhere else? Elementals from this world cannot. They are earth-bound. Is water intelligent? Science would seem so, but then the Life of water are undines, and they are definitely intelligent. The Life of the earth we call gnomes, and think they wear funny pointed hats. The Life of the fire are called salamandars, and gave us the legends of dragons, and sylphs govern the sky and clouds. Never argue with a fairy .. although a better title is Deva. I have done so, and bargained. It is all real, it is all complicated .. a divine dance supervised by the I AM, a part of the heart of the soul of the being that creates us all, moment to moment, in a timeless existence that we try to measure. LOL

  24. I was teasing a bit. I think in the context of the human experience your first post was excellent. Although I am a little uncomfortable with the separation issue of some part of the whole “asking: it for something” as if there are two different things.. Maybe you were being metaphorical.

It just felt a little human centric and I’m sure that was not your intention.

The Course in Miracle runs amok with its human centrism.

  25. Hi Ken, I wrote a very good answer here, hit send and it vanished. Is anyone else having problems posting comments to the site? That happened yesterday too, but I remembered to save a copy of the message. It could just have been my browser. I will try again.

I agree about the Course in Miracles. It was not channelled from Jesus.

I was not being metaphorical. I drive my husband mad because I am very literal and he’s a bit of a joker. Perhaps next time you could try a smiley face? 🙂

    Ok – take 2.

Humanity believes it lives in the state of separation from God/Source. Although this is an illusion, it allows them to exist in chaos and not de-structure the whole nature of Creation. (Kind of like putting brackets around a comment in the middle of a sentence, or sea walls to enclose a salt water pool, in this case keeping the sharks in). We call it Free Will.

The Elohim asked Abba. As I wrote, there was only 12 of them. One of them already lived in separation, the others stepped into into it when they agreed to ask, which ended up creating the fall of one third of all the angels and Elohim. (There was a comment here about a drop of water asking the ocean for something, but I can’t remember how it fitted. LOL) They no longer exist within that state.

It happened because the “I AM” wanted to view what chaos would do to its perfect creation, so created, or allowed, one perfect being free will .. we ended up with humans and demons. After the Fall, the angels/Elohim went back to being servants without free will. BTW, the Elementals are an angelic form. And the ‘aliens’ and humans share the same DNA – just to fit them into the scheme of things.

Oh well, a rather different answer to the first …

    • What is all of this actually for??? Why can’t we just live and enjoy life? Why must we go through trials and tribulations in order for our souls to elevate? Why don’t we come here with an elevated soul already? Once you go through all of life’s many challenges, then what? You get the chance to help someone else??? Why does any of that even matter??? Why are soooo many things here on Earth designed to kill/harm us??? The food, the water, the air, the government are constantly trying to kill us off. Why? Why can’t we just exist with out all of these obstacles??? Why? Aids is man made and so is Cancer, every yr a new flu is released into the world, many ppl die as a result, WHY?? At the end is there is an end if end really even exist, what do we get? A chance to say we did it? We get to become a wise guru? What is the meaning of all of this??? It makes absolutely no sense unless we’re trying to impress someone or something. Please tell me why the Queen of Englad is allowed to be so evil as well as other governments. Who are these evil entities and why are they allowed to harm us?? WHY??

  26. I guess it depends on how words are used and how a lens is interpreted so we may believe the same thing, In this incarnated form I wasn’t there. I did like your previous take.

I have worked for many years with a channel who has a very big picture take. It is very similar to Conversations with God.

I agree this was all purposeful. I am very uncomfortable with any idea of a “fall”. To explore “separation” and what it entails makes perfect sense. If ALL THAT IS is infinitely creative, then eventually the intrigue of exploring separation (What would happen if I allowed myself to experience myself as that which I am not) would naturally arise.

“Fall’ Implies good and bad. Is the lion bad when it eats the antelope? Is the tsunami “bad”? Why is it a “fall” to experience the thrill of 3D, the vast depth of diversity of form, and the idea of darkness? What a concept. Its only a movie anyway so nobody gets truly harmed in the end. But as Bill Hicks said, “Its a ride”. In Hinduism Kali dances in blood.

As for some part of “God” asking “God” at a higher level for something implies to me my hand asking my body and mind for permission to grasp something.
    Kabir had an interesting take.

“WHEN He Himself reveals Himself, Brahma brings into manifestation That which can never be seen.
As the seed is in the plant, as the shade is in the tree, as the void is in the sky, as infinite forms are in the void–
So from beyond the Infinite, the Infinite comes; and from the Infinite the finite extends.

The creature is in Brahma, and Brahma is in the creature: they are ever distinct, yet ever united.
He Himself is the tree, the seed, and the germ.
He Himself is the flower, the fruit, and the shade.
He Himself is the sun, the light, and the lighted.
He Himself is Brahma, creature, and Maya.
    He Himself is the manifold form, the infinite space;
He is the breath, the word, and the meaning.
He Himself is the limit and the limitless: and beyond both the limited and the limitless is He, the Pure Being.
He is the Immanent Mind in Brahma and in the creature.

The Supreme Soul is seen within the soul,
The Point is seen within the Supreme Soul,
And within the Point, the reflection is seen again.

Kabîr is blest because he has this supreme vision!”

Its all seamless. All flowing from one center. Always arising. Incessantly exploring, investigating, experiencing.

    “Sitting quietly, doing nothing
    Spring comes, grass grows.”

    • To “inquiring minds”.

Books and books, talks and seminars, traditions and teachings, lifetimes are spent dealing with this foundational question of humanity. If you read through the archives, many of your questions will be answered.

Bottom line? You must “stop thinking like a human” which is fear based and tethered to the victim-perpetrator cycle. The truth is totally counter intuitive to the human senses and intellect because it cannot see “behind the veil”

Short answer. Bliss all the time can be boring. “God” (All That is) wanted an adventure in physicality, in duality, in separation, in individuation. Because there is duality (contrast) there must be light and dark and because the Infinite is awesome and profound, both the light and dark are extremely intense. “God” does not play around.

The human experience is unique in its own way in terms of morality. Does the seal say “Here come those evil killer whales?” I don’t know. They both just are.
You might read Yogananda’s take here http://www.theself.com/lifeisadream_yogananda.cfm

I would recommend these three books
      Conversations With God-Neale Donald Walsch
      Journey of Souls- Michael Newton
      Your Soul’s Plan- Robert Schwartz

If you are serious, and want to strongly reduce your sense of despair, by the time you finish you will have an answer, the best answer I know of.

How you deal with the information is up to you.

And I would begin asking your Guides (or God-whatever works for you) for direction in these matters. It takes experience to validate these ideas.

  27. P.S. I think its possible Jesus channeled ACIM but my guides told me the source was limited by the channels and the collective consciousness they reflected at the time it was given.

  28. Hi Ken,

Here is an ‘is the …” question. Is the demon bad or evil when it suppresses a human spirit/soul within the living body, takes over the body, forces it to do things the spirit/soul would not normally do, like cutting him/herself, murdering another person, abusing the body with drugs and alcohol, or enforcing their will on a child or other person who cannot defend themselves? I do not think you would think this a ‘good’ action by an entity that is only acting out its evil nature .. if we deem the angels good. The major demons were angels before they ‘fell’ “from higher to lower energy”. They descended in the energy spectrum, much as humanity would like to ascend.

And please do not tell me demons do not exist. I have been a demonologist for far too long. They are not just inventions of televison and the broken minds they occasionally (thank the heavens) inhabit. Why do we have the Michael to protect humanity if it does not need protecting?

The concept of the Christ speaking to the Father (Abba), which Christians adhere to is an example of one energy form speaking to its Heart. Do you never talk to yourself in your own mind before an action? I know I do .. when I do it out loud my husband wants to know what I am saying. 🙂

When God, by whatever name, speaks to you .. actually, when the Michael speaks to you, since we, and they, are all the same energy, is it not one form speaking to another, two different beings within the same energy of Source/Creation?

    I love the Kabir quote.

    • I would agree with that. In the end does it matte?. As Ram Das says its the message, not the messenger. So we take what resonates and leave the rest.

  29. Ama,

We are just batting around beliefs so here is my reply.

About demons and evil. Is a non physical “demon” less or more evil than a “human” demon who tortures, kills, rapes, etc.

This entire site which is a section of a larger teaching. is about “Soul evolution”. According to Soul evolution, there is no random. Either what happens is the result of pre-life planning (destiny created by the Soul), or free will, Soul choices in response to that destiny. All are governed by the Law of Attraction., Causation is either vertical (self destiny) or horizontal (the vibration we emit here).

Through human eyes there is contrast, good-bad, up-down. here-there, victim perpetrator. But from a higher perspective good and bad are relative and all is love. Michal ( my channeled friend) says through ALL things is love revealed. Everything is an expression of love at its core because all is part of a plan to help one expand. We just don’t see the backstory. Everything is contracted for. Matt Kahn has a video on You Tube, “Everything is Here to Help You”. There are no exceptions.. This includes atrocities. From our human experience this is often hard to accept, especially when we are going through it, but it is a just Universe. There is no capriciousness involved.

The profound power of darkness is one of the greatest learning and expansion tools developed by Source. By grappling with its shadow in this realm, the Soul is afforded opportunities for growth and experience not available in other realms or dimensions.

About the other. I gave a talk on devotion at my church. I said, although in the end devotion is not necessary, it is a useful and important tool within individuation and duality. For one of the primary issues here is forgetting of who we are.

My sense is that Angels and Masters. etc know who they are but present themselves in an individuated form if necessary.. You wrote about that very eloquently above in an earlier post. Thus Michael is not an individual but an energy band of God, like light through a prism, that has a specific function. In remembrance, if asked “who are you truly,”, Michael would say “I am Source in this functional form. There is no separation. Therefore I am one totally at all times with that which you would call (in Christian terms) “The Father.” furthermore, YOU are one, the same as, always and eternally with ” the Father”. (or Mother or whatever). The distinction is you have forgotten and I haven’t. Jesus said “I am one with the Father”. In my experiences now with him (as Sananda in Spirit form), there is no need fto “ask” of” God” by him for anything for whatever is given is direct and instantaneous, Its just God in that form” was necessary in that moment presenting itself as that ‘point of the wave’

I think at this point its just which lens we wish to use, inside the game or outside. Inside there appears to be individuation and similar communication. If I speak to Mary, then Metatron am i speaking to two distinct beings? Or including me are there three? Or as you say, its all God speaking to God. But Mary and Metatron know they are one, aspects of a singularity and i have forgotten.

The only reason I feel the distinction is important, is often (very often) I see people getting very literal around this. IMO, this reinforces separation.

I am not going to pretend that I am above all this. I am very ensconced in duality. But there is a part of me that recognizes that these energies which are all actually one energy or consciousness are like the particular wave or tonality one needs at the moment, but are not “real” in the truest sense. Its just the expression of the One, as we all are expressions of the One. Thus we are all God having this experience, which was kind of the purpose of it all.

BTW, Kabir did not originate that quote. It is a Buddhist saying.

  30. P.S. We constantly forget about animals. plants and other living and even nonliving forms. Good and evil do not exist for them. Things just are. The human experience is a particular expression with its own set of parameters. The proliferation of all this form, imo, gives exquisite delight to All that is. What a thrill to be the waterfall, clouds sky, trees, bees, dinosaurs, you name it. Galaxies, stars, planets. What a playground. And the human offers such a fascinating opportunity and lens in which to play.

As Michal said, “Best sandbox ever”.

  31. Inquiring minds .. your comment just turned up in my inbox. 🙂 I have one question for you. Do you ever get bored?

As I wrote before, humans were created to create – good and bad. We are one of many predators on this planet, we just think we are more conscious than others, but we ignore the obvious signs that many of them know the “I AM” in one form or another, but don’t speak our multitude of languages. And some of them we eat, and given the opportunity, some would eat us.

As for disease and dis-ease, its all created to challenge us, to make us think and feel and question our reality .. and maybe do something about it, for the good of others, or perhaps only ourselves.

In all those ‘why was’ questions I can add a few to the list – why was electricity created, if it can kill? Many drugs were created that, in small doses benefit humanity, but in large doses will destroy them .. the planet, and us, were created to express the polarity of everything. You can tell that by looking around.

I am not a conspiracy theorist and don’t follow modern lines of thought so I can’t be specific in saying who or what wants to ‘get’ us .. but to me its obviously humanity against itself, and why? In the long run the answer is based in fear – fear of everything, manifest in so many different, negative forms. It’s not enough to want to have a peaceful and happy life, because you’d have to be a monk in a cave, if that suited you, and never interact with the rest of the world, who live in fear of … each other, or lack, or starvation etc .. and yet so many starve .. its all about polarity. (The opposite of Fear is Love)

And why do good for another? If you can’t do it just for the ‘other’, then do it because some day it might be you that needs the help.

We all are elevated souls, for want of a clearer description, many of us simply choose to forget this before coming into the world. There’s a saying in one of my favourite books, that is fiction .. “sometimes the person needs the lesson, and sometimes the person IS the lesson” (Anne Bishop). That’s another reason why we come.

I agree about the ‘trying to impress someone’ – mostly we are trying impress ourselves. There’s no reason to impress anything or anyone else, they already see us as perfect beings, it is only us who chooses to live the ‘illusion’ that we are not what we were created to be .. chaos in action. LOL

So why do we incarnate .. to change, to be ourselves in Ken’s sandbox .. the ultimate child that can be anything it wants to be, with a little effort, perhaps only because of luck .. but its all by choice .. and its all FREE WILL. Who would think that Free Will could be the most destructive force in the multiverse?

I wonder if the “I AM”, after it had finished creating itself thought “I AM BORED” .. and so creation began ..

… now I feel like Terry Pratchett. I really do miss that man, and I never met him in person.

  32. Thank you soooo much Ama! I just want to live a peaceful life w/o all of the extra. My wish is for one day that all of humanity can co exist and love ❤ each other unconditionally. Life here can often be hard an unfair. I wish that if we chose unconsciously to reincarnate here we could all do so from a level playing field and then by our choices go left or right or bad or good. Life here can be hard to grasp at times. Thanks again!!

  33. Two thoughts. Once you understand how it works, life is not unfair, it is a just Universe. Things are not what they appear to be.

All incarnations are deliberate and agreed to. There is nothing unconscious about the process in the least.

And the playing field is far more level than you realize.

    • Hi Ken, me again .. can I ask for your opinion?

If the Universe is just, why do the Michael work for justice? Surely they would have nothing to do if it was so? To me the Michael represent balance. I can’t think of anything more stable than my ‘friend’ behind my right shoulder (guardian angel), but even from the moon or the 12th dimension (it seems we are all going to be there soon according to people I see on facebook – on the day before my birthday 😉 ) when a child dies at the hands of a human monster .. I have to wonder what the karmic pattern was there, that created that event. Or will Justice finally align itself at the ‘end’ of this manifestation of creation (like shuffling a deck of cards) .. and make sense of all the small nasty injustices we never noticed along the way – or forgave for the right reasons, even if that reason was only for peace of mind for ourselves?

The Michael are soldiers, it is their nature, as you know, and I don’t think we are battling, simply having a complicated conversation – that is certainly very interesting to me.

  34. P.S. And that your pain is serving you amazingly? This site is about the back story of the Soul. Did you take the time to read the material? When Souls are in earlier stages of development, often pain need to be profound to move them forward. Its all Love disguised.

  35. You are welcome, IM .. quite truthfully, after we die (we are in no hurry LOL) a few friends and I are going to have a holiday and go scuba diving. You are welcome to join us. 🙂 Being spirits we won’t have to worry about sharks or drowning, and I just want to let go and flow back into the atoms of the ocean. I can remember doing that from another ‘between lives’ experience. Some lives can seem very unfair, and certainly feel that way when we are in the middle of it all, and although hindsight is a great teacher, it often doesn’t help – but then .. its all lessons anyway, as Ken has said, and I do agree with him. And when we lose our tempers because something is ‘unfair’, or unjust, we are just proving that we have very loving hearts, even though sometimes .. I think one of my life lessons is patience. LOL

Be happy, enjoy life without the complications, if you allow yourself to. You might choose to make it far more complicated next life, or you might have had a really difficult one last time around. Everyone needs some quiet time to regroup and a non-complicated life could be just that.

My understanding is – the tougher the life, the more we learn from within it, but everyone needs a holiday once in a while. 🙂

  36. Ama,
For some reasons replies don’t have direct reply buttons. There is an entire line of philosophy around this that from several vectors appears to be verified. It has to do with Soul Contracts which include agreements with others in which all, even animals, plants, etc are interwoven. It is the Law of Attraction at the highest level acting as the distributing agent of karma and soul desire.

From this vantage point, each soul contracts a destiny piece, usually major portions of their lives, and leaves a good portion for free will in dealing with what it has set up. All events, even the worst atrocities, are contracted for or are seen before coming in as a strong possibility or probability (the universe follows quantum law) that the Soul agrees to.

Within the realm of duality, the play of light and dark gives the soul opportunity for expansion, with the prime directive to become one with its essence of love. In the early stages of soul age (have you read the material here?), the soul is raw and has not developed empathy or compassion and is quite rigid and self centered, able to inflict harm without thought. Often enjoying it.

But as individuals and as a collective we grow toward maturity. The insight and compassion you feel did not develop in a vacuum. It has been earned through many lives of growth. Central to this growth is the understanding of darkness for only by experiencing it, (that which it is not-the shadow) can the Soul fully come to appreciate its true nature. This is the core of the human journey that God loves, eternally fashioning brilliant diamonds from raw material.

Within duality tools are given, such as Angelic help. Angelic help is no different in essence from human help for the Universe assists anyone that asks for it. It is like the air, ever present. But one must be open to it.

I suggest you read Journey of Souls and Your Soul’s Plan. They deal with this in depth and are life changing books. It is an “Old Soul” perspective. “the big picture” for what seems to be going on is not what is going on.

  37. Hi Ken,

Thank you. I read both those books, and Carolyn Myss, among many others, many years ago, while sitting in a Healing Centre that I owned, between clients and unusual experiences.

    You raise an interesting topic:

The Law of Attraction and Karma, working together. Basically, a living person does something profoundly good and attracts more good. The same person does something appalling and attracts negativity. Would one cancel the other out? No, because balancing karma has to be ‘like for like’, so generous philanthropy is not going to repay murder.

So we have the person, before incarnating, making an agreement with his/her victim(s) to commit an act or acts that have life-changing consequences for a multitude of people, from the murderer, to the victim, to both individuals’ family and friends, to the police and medical stuff who are affected by the event, and their families; to people who read the newspaper article written about it by a journalist who ends up winning a Pulitzer Prize for journalism later in life because the murder story was their first big break! It’s no wonder we have help laying out our life plans before we come back into the world. 🙂

If the decisions are already made, pre-decided, unchangeable, before we come into the world, then it’s not what happens to us, or what we do, that counts (or gathers karma), but how we react to what follows. But then, that destroys all hope of Free Will, which we actually do have, so, even if we do decide to commit a murder (for whatever reason) before we incarnate, we don’t actually have to do it at the time. I am sure there must be a counter plan to cover that contingency. 🙂

But then, which level, in your ranking of souls, is the murderer and where the victim? And how far reaching are the consequences of our actions, if a murder committed today stops a war 400 years from now? IMO, we really need angels and other spiritual teachers to run the ‘possible’ time lines on that story. I wonder if time runs backwards for angels (hmm.. just a joke 🙂 ), or do they simply ‘see’ the whole of all possibilities like threads on a giant spider’s web, from the beginning of their creation, to the end of everything?

    • Ama and Ken! Reading your responses to one another has me enthralled. I can’t stop reading them and have taken an hour doing so. I have never replied to a blog or really read them before. I came across this article by chance in looking for an answer to a comment I heard that reincarnated souls have the same eyes. I question this but it was said that that would be how you recognize another soul from the past. I wish I could sit in a room with you guys and talk lol. I’m coming into a path in life of enlightening. I was raised Christian and yet I have always had an affinity for science and space, but also the healing effects of stones ect. I couldn’t always intertwine the two ideas (religion/science) and have always tried to balance back and forth my belief of the two. This article and blog have really put some things in perspective and I really feel like some clarity has come my way. I’m a natural caregiver and empath and yet always seem to have such negativity surronding me and this has helped me alitle in understanding that i designed this. I definitely want to look at some of these books and read into this Michael that’s spoken of. Thank you. I’m curious of your thoughts on the multiverse…

    • Just interjecting here to point out that the reincarnation / eyes theory is just an idea used as a plot device in a recent movie (‘I Origins’) and isn’t based on anything.

There is usually facial similarly however, from one life to the next, even if the soul changes race and gender.

      As a few examples:

Sir Isaac Newton –> Prof Peter Higgs
      Sergei Prokofiev –> Alannis Morissette
      Branwell Brontë –> John Lennon
      Walt Whitman –> Alice Walker

  38. Ama,
My understanding is this. The issue of “good”, “bad”, pound for pound, like for like is too literal and too limiting. We think in terms of “punishment” and “reward”. My sense it is both evolving and balancing. If we get beyond good and bad, all actions have value to Source.

In Journey of Souls, a soul wanted to experience abuse. You can’t have abuse in “heaven”. But upon pregnancy, the couple united. The soul immediately caused a miscarriage. Living a “well” life was of no use to it. This defies human conception.

Another soul was a master healer from the galaxy. She took 300 incarnations and never took a healthy body. Health was waste of time for this soul. The physical was a profound school.

My first experience with all of this was years ago. A friend of mine had a young woman friend who had been murdered. He was distraught. We went to a city park. I had no idea how to console him. Suddenly a cone of light surrounded me and I heard myself saying,. “she contracted for this death to deepen the appreciation for life of those around her who needed this lesson. It was a willing sacrifice” Peace radiated from me while I said this and he immediately cooled down. It was an extremely profound moment.

So I would say yes, the unfathomable genius of “God” is interweaving everything together. This intelligence is so far beyond human intelligence as to be incomprehensible.

My understanding is lives can be tightly scripted, others can be much looser, depending on necessity. A major event, such as the Kennedy assassination is tightly scrip[ted. But sometimes the individual or society has to, through choices, bring the event into form. I see generally for most people 65-70% destiny( self created- body, temperament, biology, parents, culture, major events (illnesses, spouses, friends, schools, accidents, etc) and 30 % free will, choices, responses, timing, acceleration, etc.

A soul can “pay off” “bad” actions by becoming saintly and doing service.Usually the soul, if it has caused harm, will want or agree to some similar actions, not because it is being punished, but because it wants to understand through experience what the abuse it caused feels like. Thus it can evolve past such behavior. From a “quantum” perspective, it technically is all probabilities, some much harder to move than others. In Joel Whitton’s “Life Between Life”, a young woman was “destined” to become a great musician. She went off a cliff with drugs and booze in a car with friends at 34. So her free will blew her contract. One of the worst I ever read about. He was a regression hypnotherapist like Newton. The person who came to him for treatment was an emergency incarnation developed by her guides to start to get her back on track. Probabilities. Like a giant oscilloscope, everything adjusts to everything else, instantaneously and continuously.

In a book I read, a young boy (20’s) was killed while riding his bike by a car.. His mother was disconsolate. Finally she went to a medium. The kid showed up.He laughed. “I did not mean to cause you pain. But I needed a short life. Last life I was a prisoner of war. Next life, mid 21st century I will be a well known politician. Both are (were) very demanding lives. I needed a vacation life. but it had to be short. You don’t remember agreeing to this. I do. So please don’t worry. All is good”.

When we understand that everything is happening by choice, individually and collectively at the highest level, we begin to understand “Through ALL things is love revealed.” What is the gift underlying every relationship, every event?

If we could see the back story of every situation, even mass atrocities, we would say.”My God, it all makes perfect sense”. Thus there is a place beyond “god” and “bad” and release from the “victim-perpetrator cycle”.

That’s how much in balance the Universe is. We as God have all the time in eternity to figure this stuff out.

In the end, EVERY event or action has value. None is “better” than the other in the largest sense. Is the college curriculum “better” than the preschool curriculum? No. They are just different stages. Yes, part of the way the game is constructed is it bends in a moral direction, or movement toward essence, (back to unity) but how do you get there without good guys and bad guys. Someone has to take these roles. As a medium I get this from famous people who come to me over and over. “Get past the judgment” is the great command.

This sandbox is not heaven. Or evolved not to be. The point of this Universe is the complete exploration of separation. Heaven already is heaven. I believe this serves a different purpose. Some planets are conflict free. This one isn’t. But to the soul, it is most beguiling. What opportunities for growth and experience. A very demanding playground, but one with great reward.

  39. P.S. I can say these thing rather cavalierly because I am emerging from the karmic cycle. I still have stuff to deal with but its not like a life that’s unconscious about it. As a mature-beginning old soul, there has been a tremendous karmic clearing, which is common for this stage. But I still have major pieces to work out. Or maybe not. What do I really know from my human perspective? I can see the outlines, sometimes the details. Most of the work now involves the emotional body. And allowing. But I think that was a major part of the contract. How I deal with it is to a strong degree up to me.

My timing has brought me to a certain point. I believe these potentials always exited but realistically it took certain elements to be in place before I could deal with some things. At this point there is a lot of choice. Thiis is the interface between destiny and free will imo.

    • Thank you, that was a lovely explanation, Ken. Much appreciated.

I understand about emerging from the karma cycle. As strange as it will sound given the level of my conversation, I left it many cycles ago, but I am asked to return to incarnation to act as a catalyst for others. When I was younger my friends brought me a present, one birthday, a large wooden spoon with the words ‘chief stirrer’ printed on it. We hung it on a wall to remind me to ‘tread softly’ as the Michael say. 🙂

The gift of Free Will is a particularly painful lesson for many people, because it means we must accept total responsibility for everything that we create, but it also means that at every point there is always a choice, even if it appears to only be ‘thy will not mine’.

      Back to spinning, 🙂

p.s. I think you mean Existed rather than exited, or at least I hope so?

  40. Stargazer,

Thank you for your kind words. About Multiverse theory. I personally believe in it. In Journey of Souls Michael Newton references other Universes that are not carbon based as this one is, Universes of frequencies, etc. Abraham Hicks alludes to realities that we cannot fathom because they are so different. It would make sense to me that All That Is would not limit itself to restrictions in its expression.

However, I tend not to expound on things I have not personally experienced, so I can say that sounds interesting and credible, however there is not much I can say definitively just because it is written somewhere. Then we’re back to belief because an outside authority proclaims it. Which I find rather useless.

  41. Recognition of someone important from a past life usually deals with the powerful energetic connection we feel, as if we have “known them all our life”. If its an enemy, it can be an instant antipathy for “no apparent reason”.

  42. Thank you Stargazer.

My thoughts on the multiverse are always complicated. LOL Is it a reality .. possibly? Do we individually exist in every time and space in everything everywhere .. yes, if it exists. Regardless of whether ‘I’ can comprehend the multiverse, it makes perfect sense, from an angelic point of view. They exist in the ‘all and ever-w(h)ere’ .. that’s not a spelling mistake. That’s a Michael comment from over my right shoulder. Every choice we make has consequences .. perhaps some of the big choices splinter reality, like breaking a mirror into a million pieces. I don’t want to have to track all the possibilities, because my mind boggles on the mirror fragments, but if it does exist, then each fragment must hold IMO the energy of many different people .. and the dimensions of the multiverse would be astronomical. I wonder if its only based on what we did, and not what we ‘might have done’?

    What do you think?

  43. Hi Barry,

I agree the ‘eyes’ theory doesn’t have a leg to stand on. 🙂 I remember reading somewhere, long ago, that there are five basic face types (shapes) in the world, and a limited number of variations to eye shapes and colours, nose shapes, mouth shapes, skin colours, specific ethnic attributes etc .. so the thought that we have the same eyes through multitudes of lives, might be possible as a choice .. but, in reality, its unlikely. The same with having a similar face .. do the living people in your list actually remember being the other person, or are we just basing the belief on who they are similar too? I can’t be the only one who notices that most of the famous film stars of today look so very similar to ones of previous generations .. are they reincarnated into the same roles, or do we simply choose to make them famous because of ‘who they looked like’?

Our choice of genetics provides the foundations of what we look like. If I come back into this family as my own great great grandchild, I might choose to look like the person I am now e.g. my daughter ‘inheriting’ the fuzzy-wuzzy hairstyle of her Polynesian great-great grandmother. I am fascinated with comparing my hand with my mother’s (almost a perfect match .. including wrinkles these days), and my children’s hands with their father’s because they both ‘inherited’ his ‘artistic fingers’, in comparison to my practical ones.

A soul connection however, can be ‘read’ in the eyes, or felt in the heart, or both at once, having done it myself with a few of my ‘old’ friends from other lives. It doesn’t matter where you were born, or how old you are now .. when you meet an ‘old friend’, or even an enemy, .. you just ‘know’.

    • The facial similarity was first noticed among non-celebrities who have had past-life recall or resonance, then done the research, then found that the previous person looked just like them. An example is Jeff Keene, a firefighter who was guided to uncover a past life as Col. John B. Gordon, a Confederate soldier. On subsequently researching Col. Gordon, he found a photo of the man – it was like looking in a mirror.

I first noticed it while looking into the reports of a boy who (until recently) could remember being a pilot shot down by the Japanese in WW2. The kid looks exactly like the pilot.

I was then told about John Lennon’s striking similarity to one of his channelled past lives, Branwell Brontë.

There are many other channelled cases in which the past and present personalities look virtually identical.

I spotted a very probable one just recently :
Maria Callas –> Laura Breton (child singing talent)

Obviously generic connections are a possibility, but there is no known genetic link in these cases that I’m aware of.

  44. Good comment on the Multiverse. If there is no such thing in reality as “separation”, that the truth of our being is as we awaken and remember to the fullness that we are everything, then by definition, we have to everywhere at once, in all dimensions, in all space, in all times, and that which is beyond all form simultaneously

  45. Hello

I had a strange dream a couple of months ago. I was on a school bus headed towards a party. Once we reached the mansion I was escorted downstairs and found an entire area that was dedicated to teaching young “gifted” souls. It was almost like an academy. Does anyone know what this could mean?

Just a little backstory for those who are interested. I’m 20 and had my spiritual awakening about 6 months ago. I was at work when suddenly I felt off balance; I could sense other people’s energies and had this feeling of unconditional love towards all of my coworkers. I eventually came home and found myself lying on the floor listening to music. I can only describe the experience itself as a moment of blissful silence and emptiness followed by a jolt of energy. It was like I was hit by lightning. Then came the voice. I heard a voice tell me to go outside and I hurried with no hesitation. I walked around my neighborhood for about two hours. Only later did I come to the conclusion that I was in a trance. My body was moving on its own and I felt light as a feather.

During this trance I was told about my past. I was a criminal in one my of my past lives. I had this sudden urge to steal cars haha! I came to the realization that everything happens for a reason. It was as if past interactions were individual puzzle pieces meant to be put together to form lessons. During my spiritual awakening my higher self told me a name I had never heard before. I looked it up and found out that it was the name of a god, specifically the god of wisdom. I unfortunately cannot remember the name because at the time my brain was constantly in the moment. I would move from one thought to the next while almost completely abandoning the previous one.

I have always loved music. I gravitated towards 90’s era hip hop. I would never pay attention to the lyrics; I just loved the way the sounds made me feel. I would always hear talk about the third eye but I never paid attention. I think my higher self was trying to guide me towards the right direction. Almost every rap group from Wu-Tang Clan and Hieroglyphics to modern groups like Pro Era, The Underachievers, and Flatbush Zombies talk about New Age and Eastern Philosophy but as I said before I never focused on the lyrics, until now of course.

I believe I am an old soul but my higher self told me I am a god. Are there actually multiple gods in other planes of existence? I know I am rambling; I am just so excited to embark on this journey! I now no longer fear death and am ready to help and guide as many people as I can, or more importantly help anyone who wants to listen.

  46. Ama, Barry and Ken, this weekend I had so many questions and ideas I wanted to share with you but on Tues my grandmother fell and was admitted to the ER. I think she is one of my soulmates so it’s been a rough couple days. I feel cloudy now on the things i wanted to discuss…twin flames, soul groups, aliens and pets souls…. Now that I can’t articulate all oh my thoughts, do you have any thoughts on these subjects? I had so much to discuss and I’m sorry for being vague. Also do you think we are currently in a spiritual battle?

    • Just want to let everyone know I’m in the process of setting up a forum here so that these great discussions can have their own space. I’ll give details as soon as ready. (I might ask some of you regulars to ‘beta test’ it.)

  47. Hi guys,

I really enjoy reading these comments; I have learned so much. I am 19 and have always had strange experiences while sleeping.(mostly sleep paralysis but sometimes I would have seizures and dreams of me drowning) One night I was in my bed sleeping, then the next thing I know I was rubbing my forehead on the carpet floor until I finally “woke up” and realized what I was doing. It was almost like I was possessed. I have been doing research on the astral plane and read that on the lower levels there exists demons and entities that have negative energy. Could someone open themselves up and allow these evil entities to take over their body? Also, what role does one’s zodiac sign have on their spiritual journey? I am a Pisces and according to a lot of websites the spiritual path is almost inevitable.

Thank you for all the work you guys do. 🙂

    • Not sure about “evil entities” but there are said to be some relatively unevolved souls hanging about on the lower astral who, for whatever reason, can cause a bit of trouble. However, one has to be a bit innocent as well as sensitive and vulnerable to begin with for them to do any real harm – which may be why most incidents seem to focus on young girls.

That said, my first ever unusual experience was at age 18 or 19. I was a student and walked into a room where other students had been holding a seance. As soon as I walked into the room I was filled with another person’s emotions — a female in extreme grief and anxiety. I was so overwhelmed that I feinted. (Totally freaked out the other students!) If it happened to me now I would try to deal with it calmly, consciously, and in control of the situation, like a counsellor dealing with a person in trauma.

I recently had the experience of a more troublesome presence; it felt like she (again a female…) was trying to “touch me up” while lying in bed. Real or hallucination, I cannot say for sure, but I could literally feel the sheets moving and hands touching me. I just said get lost in a grumpy voice and it all stopped.

I now see these spirits as no more dangerous than, say, a spider in the bathtub: unpleasant perhaps but easily dealt with, and they can be just as scared of us.

  48. There are plenty of negative entities in and out of human form. We are given supreme power over our lives and energy. I agree with Barry. Forget about that stuff and concentrate on your connection to Source in whatever form works for you. Everything else follows.

  49. Hello Alex D,

Wouldn’t it be lovely if ignorance was bliss.

Reacting to a dream, such as acting out rubbing your head against something, is nothing like being possessed. True possession happens when a person’s spirit is suppressed inside the body (in a sense) and something else takes over and pretends to be you. And they don’t let go again. Oppression happens when a negative entity commands the living to do something that they would not normally do by constant harassment, causing great harm not only to the living person, but often to everyone around them (family and friends (if the person has any left)).

Yes, on the astral plane there are beings that are very negative, and some that hate humanity, but there are also loving beings attempting to protect us when our spirit’s travel, as we all do when our bodies are sleeping.

Some people do choose to invite demons into their lives. Some people are harassed by negative entities, without ever asking any to be anywhere near them. Some people allow all sorts of entities to ‘use’ their bodies, in some cases this is called ‘channelling’. It is NOT something I recommend the living do, given that they cannot guarantee who the user will be. The being that is telling them all sorts of wonderful and mystical things, could be an outright liar, and people don’t usually have the training to recognise a very plausible lie from a profound truth. Better not to take chances in this times of struggle.

The Spiritual Journey is what you are living right now. It is not inevitable, as if you have no choice in the matter, it is based in how you deal with the world, yourself, and every other living person, on a day-to-day basis. The sign you were born under is a choice you made before you came into this incarnation. The energy of the planets etc influences how you react to life events, what your personality might be – given ideal circumstances, and the toughness of your life and karmic lessons. It’s all part of who you choose to be this time (life) around.

Do you often have seizures and have you had your health checked because of that. If you haven’t I suggest that you do, for your own sake.

    Love & Peace
    Ama

    • I have not had trouble sleeping for a little over 6 years now; thank you for your concern. I had my spiritual awakening about a year ago and it was a very intense experience. Since then I have been having weeks where I feel moments of intense ‘oneness’ with the world followed by painful headaches and energy flowing up my spine, followed by me feeling like the prior spiritual events never happened. Do you know when these ups and downs will end?

Understanding that life in this dimension is a game that my soul (me/everything) plays to experience evolution has changed my perspective on world events. I now look at the travesties currently going on in a detached way. I find myself saying “everything is going to be OK”. Even though looking at tragic events like this helps keep me emotionally stable there is a part of me that thinks this is wrong. Do you find yourself waving away tragic events of am I starting to lose empathy for other souls on this planet?

Thank you again for taking time out of your day to read this 🙂
